Professional Friend to Cats
I’m currently the facility manager at a nonprofit cat lounge in Los Angeles, where I’m responsible for the care of 40-50 cats at a time (of course with a team to help!). I’ve been in this position for a year, in addition to my years of experience volunteering with cat rescue organizations. I can do the basics: food, water, litter, and I can monitor for and identify health concerns.

For drop in visits, I’m very careful about doors when I enter and exit, and of course I want to monitor water bowl levels, dry food levels (if you leave food out), and make sure they’re eating during feeding times. I’ll socialize with friendly cats, and sit quietly with shy cats who need some time to warm up. If treats are owner-approved, I’d love to offer some! Using their favorite toys for enrichment and play also builds the connection between me and the kitties. When scooping the litter box, I’m careful to monitor for unusual activity and will report anything abnormal to you!

The best cat sitter ever! I had a last minute trip pop up and Gracie was able to cat sit bubbles on short notice! She sent lots of photos and my cat LOVED her!

Schedule
I have a full time job with my cafe cats who rely on me! I’m onsite from about 11am-7pm, 4 days a week. I’m available for drop in visits twice a day, morning and evening - a perfect schedule for someone who is out of town. Twice daily drop ins work for me typically between 9-10am and then in the evening around 8pm (depending on location). Both visits allow for some time to feed, scoop, and play. In the evenings after work I can spend a longer visit for folks who are out of town on longer trips! On my days off from the cafe, I can accommodate different times and lengths of visits, but cat owners typically just need a once or twice daily drop in. I’m happy to go over options and see what works for you and your cat!
