As an absolute dog lover, I can’t think of nothing better than looking after your furry loved ones when I’m not grooming. I am fully flexible outside of dog grooming so I am mostly available to look after your pets when needed. Therefore, I have high flexibility throughout the week, day and night meaning I am able to respond to your requests as quickly as possible too! Although I don’t currently offer boarding, doggy day care or house sitting, I can offer the best experience during walks with your pups and drop in visits, which can be provided morning and evening, outside of grooming - please check my availability to make yourself aware.

Why choose me? The care for your pet is my number 1 priority so ensuring that their safety is completely assured, love and affection provided for them over their stay with a peaceful environment is all a package deal without question when it comes to me looking after your furry baby. To me, dogs are the best beings and I have always been comfortable around them. You can be assured that your dog is being provided with the greatest care and love from me. I am also open to acquiring to your pets needs by following their usual routine, such as, long or short walks, etc.

In order for me to provide the best possible care for your pet, I will need to know if your dog has any specific needs, such as: - Dietary requirements - Exercise requirements - Health & medical information - Do they have a routine that I should know about? - What is there behaviour and socialisation like with other humans and animals? (Especially when on walks, such as recall, needing to be kept on a lead, etc) - Emergency contact information Knowing this before I look after your pet helps me prepare to give them the best quality care and mirror what their home life is like giving your pet and me a more enjoyable experience. Before looking after your pet, I would also like to meet them to give me and the owner some peace of mind. Your pet is welcome with any specific requirements that are needed! I can also provide bathing for your dog when needed but if your dog requires a specific wash routine then you will have to let me know beforehand.
A typical day
In the morning, I like to make sure that my Labrador is fully fed and watered before starting her favourite part of the day, walkies! She is usually took walking on the park right behind my house which has vast grass patches where dogs can run around and explore. I’m a very careful and conscious dog walker, such as, putting the lead on my dog if I see other dog on a lead close by, so pets are always safe in my hands. When my dog isn’t out walking, I like to leave the back door open so that she can go out for regular toilet breaks. Throughout the day, my pets mood varies. When she is feeling playful, we like to play fetch and chase with many toys and our favourite game, hide and seek. However, when she is feeling tired, sometimes we do a few tricks and treats together and then have cuddles on the sofa, watching TV. Ada also loves to sunbathe on the garden when it’s sunny, in which I leave the back door open and a little pool filled with cold water outside incase she gets too hot. I understand that different pets all have different moods and preferences so I am very open minded into adapting to activities that your pet will like. I am willing to delve into this deeper to understand your dog and its wants and needs. If there is any training that you would like me to continue with your dog then I can also do that for you.

Pet care experience
Since I remember, I have always loved dogs and the welfare of dogs. Luckily, for me I have been able to turn that into a dream - for the past 6 months I have been training to become a qualified dog groomer and have recently launched my own dog grooming business! This has been massively exciting for me and the fact that I now get to spend time with one of the things I love most as a career is invaluable for me. During my time training as a dog groomer, I have learned all the pretty and ugly things that come with dogs, such as being able to identify diseases, illnesses and parasites, noticing changes and being aware of a dogs body language and behaviour and what this means, along with learning how to approach dogs with all kinds of different temperaments! I am also level 3 canine first aid trained so you can be reassured that your dog is in safe hands when in my care🩺 I never get sick of dogs and I think it’s become a need for me to be in their company most of the time🤣which is why when I’m not grooming, I’d love to treat one of your dogs to a fun and relaxing walk, or a cuddle and a treat on a drop in visit🐶 Due to my knowledge on coat, skin and nail health, I would love to help you out with any advice on keeping the coat in good condition or even a cheeky nail trim😌 I understand the importance of the responsibilities and attention that comes along with keeping a dog happy, like keeping up with routines such as: feeding & walking times, keeping pets stimulated and entertained by playing with them and listening to dogs needs like when they need the toilet or even when they just need a chill out - which is why I ask you to make me aware of any behavioural needs and routines. As done many puppy grooms, I have puppy experience and so I am knowledgeable on how to train baby dogs and handle their high energy levels, never doubting their constant need for love and praise. As a qualified dog groomer, I am also experienced in looking after senior dogs with health issues and understand the patience and extra love and care needed when it comes to looking after them. For me I see it as my duty to look after any dog and make sure they stay in tip top shape.

Gracie came to meet me and belle about 2 weeks be4 I went away and she was a lovely girl. I was already away as my daughter had belle for 1st week, she said the hand over went well for belle and that she thought Gracie was lovely. On my return home belle was happy & settled. The house was as I’d left it and she’d changed the sheets like I’d asked as we had overnight flight. This is the 1st time I’ve had a sitter and was quite anxious in the beginning but will definitely do it again and will certainly use Gracie again. Thank you again for taking such good care of my babies x
100% would use again!! Gracie was the perfect t sitter for us and Cody, she was in regular communication before booking/meeting and during our holiday. We enjoyed our time away with no worries that our dog was in the safest hands possible. And when we got back, she’d even cleaned the house for us. Honestly we cannot thank and recommend Gracie anymore if we tried!!!
Great service from Gracie, really communicative and made myself feel comfortable in leaving my dog in her company. Went above and beyond for my dog Bailey, assuring he was well looked after and kept me updated with his well being. 100% recommend and will definitely use again when needed.
Gracie was amazing, Dylan is an anxious little boy but he was made to feel welcome. He loved staying with Gracie, and also loved her family. Lots of cuddles and hugs were given and updates as well . 100% Recommended xx
