When I'm sitting at a client's home, I follow their pet's normal routine as closely as possible with consistent feeding times, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions they provide, like medications or special diets. I treat their home and their pet with the same respect and attention I'd want for my own, keeping the house clean and undisturbed, and making sure their pet gets the same love and consistency they're used to when their owner is home.

Pet care is a consistent part of my life, I have my own dog, and I've been pet and house sitting for over ten years. Caring for animals isn't occasional for me, it's a daily habit, whether it's my own dog's routine of feeding, walks, and playtime, or looking after someone else's pets while they're away. I treat every animal I care for as if it were my own, making sure their feeding schedule, exercise, and comfort stay consistent even when their owners aren't there. I'm also very respectful of the homes I stay in, treating each one with the same care and attention to detail I'd want if it were mine.
