Pawsitively the Best

Pet care experience

I am a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule. For over a decade, I’ve been dog sitting for friends, family and former colleagues. In 2021, I adopted my beloved furry baby, Cooper, who is a lovely and friendly miniature poodle (4 1/2 years old, 16 lbs). I have taken numerous dog training courses from Humane Society and regularly visit my personal dog trainer for continuous skills improvement. I have a paved backyard that is securely fenced - I treat every furry friend as if they were my own. Given my flexible schedule, furry friends get tons of play time, snuggling and predictable potty walks (every 3-4 hours). As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it is to trust someone else to watch over them. Given every furry friend’s needs are different, I always strive to get to know them and make sure their needs are met. Moreover, my furry son Cooper can play with them regularly and keep them company.

Grace is a dog lover. My dog coco has behavior issues but the minute she met Grace, she surrendered ti her & looked like she had warmed up to everyone at home & to our surprise she had opened up to her kids as well. Dogs can tell who their person is & grace definitely has that energy, it was so effortless to work with her & it's evident that she cares for all dogs like they are her babies. Coco had a blast & it showed through all the photos that grace shared with us. This may have been our first time working with grace but we are coming back up north again & are will be bringing her back to her. She's the best !

Grace has been a godsend for my puppy. She helped set a routine, kept me updated on his activities every single day. He actually ate more food at her place than he does at mine. She took him on good long walks and made his super comfortable. I was at peace on my trip knowing the daily happenings and seeing pictures of him. She truly treated him like her own pet.

Grace took care of Lazlo overnight while we were in the city, and she really went above and beyond to care for him. He gets anxious, and she was very considerate of making him as comfortable as possible. She sent regular text and picture updates, asked lots of excellent questions, and was overall just an excellent caretaker. We will be booking with her regularly in the future

Grace did a great job overnight sitting our 22lb Cockapoo. Even though it rained, she managed to get him out for walks. She kept in constant communication with us and sent us multiple photos from his stay. Thank you Grace.

Information Grace Y. would like to know about your pet

Dog Requirements: - Non-aggressive behavior - Fully vaccinated and up to date with flea/tick preventative - Neutered/spayed - Less than 50 lbs - Potty trained - crate / playpen trained (for safety reasons, we will put the dog I. Crate or playpen to sleep at night) - At least 1 year old I watch a maximum of 4 dogs at a time (2 boarding, 2 daycare) and we will only watch 1-2 new dogs at a time. This is to ensure when watching a dog for the first time we can give more attention and TLC to understand their personality. Our Rover calendar availability may not fully reflect that.

A typical day

I will walk them around the neighborhood 1-2 times per day. Plenty of time to go to play in the backyard . Play puzzle toy to stimulate their brain. We can sit down on the sofa for some relaxing time while I can do hair brushing if your pet like.
