Pet care experience

Avid dog lover & experienced owner!

I’ve owned and taken a major role in caring for and training family dogs my whole life, and am the primary caretaker for my current dog, Zucca! I’ve also had pet foster care experience and was trained by and volunteer for the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. I’ve pet sat successfully for friends and family, and I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love!

Grace was the absolute best! She gave me such peace of mind with my fur baby. Grace was communicative the entire time, she sent pictures, and followed my instructions to a T. I’d definitely recommend her for all your fur baby needs. 1000/10

I’ve known Grace for years, and I trust her more than anyone else with my pets. She’s cared for both my dogs (drop-in visits, dog walking, house sitting) and every single time, my animals are happy and well cared for. She sends photo updates that genuinely make my day, and my dog gets visibly excited when she walks through the door. When my dog needed medication administered, Grace handled it with total confidence and consistency, I never had to worry for a second. She is as reliable as it gets. If you’re looking for a sitter who treats your pets like family, book Grace.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I work fully remote, which means I can care for pets throughout the whole day! My hours are flexible and allow me to take midday walks or play fetch in the backyard! Outside of out-of-town (which I always adjust availability to reflect), pet care is a consistent and constant part of my day, and I love it that way!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a big fenced-in backyard that my dog loves to spend time in, plus a gate for the deck that can allow two animals to hang out outside separately if needed! There’s a medium crate downstairs, and three dogs beds throughout the house. I allow dogs on furniture and/or bed, though if your dog is crate-trained, I can continue that routine! I feed my own dog inside and keep water bowls both in and out. Zucca (my dog) normally sleeps in the upstairs bedroom, so your dog will have the pick of the house! I would take your pet out for a walk once a day; my own dog is trained in walking with others, but I don’t mind taking them separately if it’s preferred!
