I am currently unable to board any animals, but I would love to work with pets in your home! With written instructions, I am open to most anything and will show each and every pet and home under my care with love, compassion, and respect.
Information Grace S. would like to know about your pet
Dog sitting and longer house visits: I require any special health or behavior needs ahead of time, as well as if the dog I will be servicing is considered an XL breed. Before arriving I will send a form your way asking for your pets specific needs and behavior so that I am well prepared and informed before my visit. Dog walking: For my own safety, I will only accept XL breeds if they are well behaved on walks, or if they have a fenced in yard, but I am willing to work with them in a controlled and safe environment if asked.
A typical day
I am willing to do anything you ask that your pet needs, whether that be playing indoors or outdoors, going on walks, basic training and enrichment, or just cuddles on the couch!

Pet care experience
Spending my childhood growing up with all sorts of animals, I've always had a passion for their care and behavior. I have turned that passion into a hobby and career choice, working as an enrichment leader at a doggy daycare, and filling my down time by learning about animal behavior and husbandry. Working at the daycare, I have experience with dogs of all temperaments, including but not limited to: reactivity, fearful behaviors, high energy, and working breed dogs. I have handling experience with dogs of all sizes, and implement positive reinforcement training and redirection to combat unwanted behavior. On top of dogs, I have always adored cats and have 10 years of experience with a senior kitty, Scooter, at home as well as many many years of personal research on behavior and handling! Dogs are my professional specialty, but I have experience with reptiles, aquatic creatures, birds, etc! In my mind, every creature is deserving of love and respect. ❤

It is admirable how much you have always cared for animals. Your compassion shines through your journey of becoming a vegan. Having cared for so many different types of pets shows a diverse love since you were very little. From cats and dogs to more exotic pets like ferrets and axolotls, your care is evident. This dedication to animal welfare is something to be truly proud of. Grace will love and care for your pet regardless of the species as if it were her own.
