First Aid Trained Cattery Assistant
From Cattery to Couch - Hello! My name is Grace and I am working part time in a cattery. I am first aid trained in cats. I have had cats my whole life and I can genuinely say they are my passion. I have experience in cat sitting and have two beautiful black cats of my own. I have experience with all various temperaments - shy, fiesty playful. One of my cats was rescued from the streets of Bahrain - she has a big personality, big claws too! 🫣 My cattery career has provided me a great amount of experience including caring for cats with disabilities, senior cats, exotic cats, and administering medication when needed. I know how daunting it can be to find a cat sitter as I have been on that side searching for someone for my cats. I can promise exceptional care, complete trust and most likely a cute picture or two. 😸 My previous career I worked in a nursery for 11 years, so I naturally have a calm and caring side, something that transfers very well into looking after felines😻

My cats are indoor / garden only so I understand the importance of safety and ensuring that cats aren't escaping to places or rooms where they shouldn't be.

Grace has been brilliant from start to finish: great communication, an obvious love for cats and the feeling that nothing would be too much trouble for her. Both of our cats need daily medication but, given her cattery experience, Grace had no problems with that, even though one cat needs 3 pills a day. It’s been reassuring that we can go away and know that Grace is delivering a high level of care and affection to our cats, with some lovely personal touches, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
Grace is amazing .. she’s caring, tidy, organised and goes beyond the extra mile to look after the kitties :) A rare find and a beautiful person :) x
Grace has been absolutely amazing with my cat, Einstein! He's a pretty cautious boy who needs someone to recognize his body language well and take the time to get to know him, which Grace was able to do--from all the pictures and videos of Einstein, I could definitely tell he had opened up to Grace and let his personality shine! She is attentive, caring, and kept me up to date while I was halfway across the world and paid attention to the specific diet requirements Einstein has. I would highly recommend Grace whenever you need a cat sitter, as I could not have been happier knowing my cat was well taken care of. I will be asking Grace to cat sit Einstein whenever I have to be out of town going forward :)
Grace has been absolutely amazing! She was able to help with visits really last minute due to me going into labour and needing a cat sitter. My cat takes lots of different meds so it’s hard to find someone who can do that too- but Grace does it all! So friendly, kept me up to date and I could not have asked for more ❤️ Violet loved her too! Thanks so much Grace x

Schedule
I'm currently working part time so I am very flexible with regards to my schedule. I am happy to work weekends, bank holidays - anything to suit you and your cats needs. 😽 My cattery shifts are varied, and I get my rota in advance. A typical shift could be 8-12, or 8-4 so I am happy to cat sit mornings and evenings.
- CatsGrace can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- It's always good to know what to expect - what temperament your cat is whether they are super friendly, a little bit fierce, or shy and timid. I can cater my approach depending on their personalities. 😻
