Welcome to my profile! I started on Rover as a sitter in 2017 and absolutely fell in love with every pet I got the opportunity to care for. In late 2020 - early 2021 I chose to take a break from Rover to focus on my personal and professional life. Since that time I have continued to care for a select few dogs, birds, fish, reptiles and one cat for my close friends and some clients that were recommended me as a sitter from my past stays/jobs. I’ve always had an unwavering passion for all animals, exotics included, so I could never stay away from animal care completely. Currently, I work as Vet Tech Assistant at a local private practice and have been there for a little over 2 years now. Every day I’m learning something new about animal behavior, health, and medicinal practices and techniques. The learning never stops and that’s my favorite part. Because I’m lucky enough to have this job, my lifestyle is extremely flexible in regard to caring for other people’s pets. It’s also given me the tools and understanding of how to properly care for all types of pets, regardless of age, breed, temperament, medical status/needs, or any specific routines/training techniques necessary. Caring for animals can be difficult at times, emotionally and physically, but it’s my favorite part of life and I would be honored to have your pet(s) become a part of that. Whether it be drop by visits, walks, or overnight sitting, your pet(s) will receive the same consistent level of care as my own pets and patients do. Leading with fear-free techniques, compassion, patience, love, humor, and medical knowledge, I hope to provide a higher level of care to your pets than they may have had in the past.
