I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs and cats. I grew up with two golden retrievers, and after they passed, my family naturally became the neighborhood pet sitters. I spent so much of my childhood around all kinds of pets that it honestly feels like I grew up right alongside them. When my family got another golden retriever puppy, I was the one who took on most of her training. Working with her taught me patience, consistency, and how to build real trust with a young dog. I’m comfortable with basic commands, routines, and helping puppies build good habits. Being around animals genuinely lifts my mood. I’m definitely that person who stops in the street to ask if I can pet someone’s dog. I also care for two cats regularly—one at my workplace and one that belongs to my roommate—so I’m very used to daily cat routines, feeding, cleaning, and giving them attention on their terms. Caring for animals just feels like second nature to me. I always make sure pets get the attention, affection, and exercise they need, and I really do treat every animal like they’re my own. I especially love being able to give dogs company during the day when they’d otherwise be alone. It means a lot to me to be that comforting, familiar person they look forward to seeing. I’m excited to meet new families and make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved every time they’re with me.
