I've been around pets my entire life. I grew up with a 90 pound golden doodle, but before him, I had a 14 pound Shih Tzu, so I have had experience with dogs of all sizes! I currently don’t have any pets of my own and love using this platform to take care of members of your family - and get some extra dog cuddles in. I am WFH and very active. I also trained my doodle so I am experienced and patient and extremely caring. I know that your pet means the world to you, I can assure you that they will be in the best of care with me. I’m in a townhome complex in a walking-friendly neighborhood, and right next to white rock lake that I like to walk/run during lunch breaks, after work, and on weekends. I’ve been dog sitting through Rover for over 5 years now, so I come with experience not only of taking care of pups, but also representing this platform. Grace took great care of my dog! She even did a meet & greet, which made us feel comfortable before booking. She was patient while my dog warmed up to her, and provided pictures and updates. Grace has a calming presence and is kind and responsible. I would definitely book with her again and recommend her to others!

Grace was so wonderful and watched Fran while she was sick with a doggy cough! She handled all her medicine and took such great care of her. I loved getting picture updates and she was super communicative and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I am WFH and very active. I take a daily walk around lunch time and after work hours and always love a dog’s company. I’m happy to work around a schedule you’ve already set for your pup, or work with you to ID how to best care for them while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m in an apartment with direct access to outside. I am surrounded by different parks and lakes and neighborhoods that I would love some dog company to walk through with. There are no other pets in the home with me.
A typical day
I love going on walks around my area, I am still new to the neighborhood and like to explore the paths and look at the houses. I also frequently take trips to parks and lake trails in the area. If the weather allows, I like to be outside as much as possible and have a dog companion for it!

- Please let me know if your pup has any behaviors I should know about. I am a very patient person but would love to know ahead of time so I can adjust the house for them! We have a lot of other walkers in the neighborhood so if your dog is adamant about saying hello to everyone or has specific reactions, please let me know! And finally, I am pretty strong on the leash, but any dogs with pulling issues is also good to know ahead of time.
