When I was growing up, my family always had at least a few dogs and a couple of cats running around our house. Loving and caring for animals was something that I learned at an early age. My family has owned small dogs, large dogs, puppies, kittens, and elderly cats and dogs. I have experience caring for many breeds of dogs, ranging from pitbulls to chihuahuas! Throughout high school and when I've been home from college, I have watched over my neighbor's dogs and cats (and even chickens) numerous times. In high school, I also frequently volunteered at my local SPCA by helping them walk dogs and play with cats. Through owning puppies, I have experience training dogs with basic commands. Through owning senior dogs and cats, I have learned how to administer medicine (such as pills and ointments). My family has also owned temperamental and food-aggressive dogs, giving me experience with handling these types of dogs as well. As for cats, I have experience cleaning litterboxes and feeding cats.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for cats and dogs, I am always sure to spend an ample amount of time playing and petting pets during my visits, in addition to the essential care (such as feeding, ensuring ample water access, and administering medication). During my visits, I also scan the house for any messes, cleaning up what might have come up. I also love to send my clients' daily updates on how their pet is doing, often including pictures so that you can get some reassurance! When caring for cats, I like to clean the litterbox twice a day, but this may be adjusted to the client's needs!

Grace was wonderful from beginning to end! Our cat seemed to absolutely love her and she left our place cleaner than when she arrived.

Grace was a lovely dog sitter!! We felt so comfortable leaving our dogs with her. She provided tons of photos and updates and we could tell she is a genuine dog lover and took really good care of them. We will definitely be using her again!

Highly recommend! Grace did such an excellent job taking care of my 4-year-old sheepadoodle Phoebe while I was out of state for a wedding. Right from the start, Grace was so professional and took some of her own time to meet Phoebe before I left. While I was away, she provided thorough updates after each visit — oh, and plenty of pictures, too! Phoebe was having a bit of trouble finding her appetite during my trip, so Grace took the time to *hand feed* her, which I’m incredibly grateful for. Grace, thank you SO MUCH for giving me some much needed peace of mind over the holiday weekend. I will absolutely be reaching out to you to take care of Phoebe again in the future!

Schedule
I will be working at a 9-5 M-F internship alongside my time with your pets but other than my internship I am available to overnight house sit for long periods of time!
