Availability
HOUSE SITTING: I guarantee 12-14 hours overnight with your pup, typically from 7pm to 9am. Then I guarantee 60 minutes of check-in midday, which can be split into two 30 minute chunks. Daily walks are inclusive of my pricing too, and vary depending on your pet's needs. I prefer to take dogs on longer 'exercise' walks during the morning or evening when it is cooler out. WALKS & DROP-INS: I categorize daily visits according to the outline below. When you book, I may ask if we can adjust the timing slightly to help me drive the most efficient route. > Morning 8-11am > Midday 11am-2pm > Afternoon 2-5pm > Evening 5-8pm

TRUST Meet and greets are essential for me to ensure that I am capable of caring for your pet. This helps us to define expectations for the booking, but it also establishes trust between all parties (me, the human clients, and the pet clients :)). I expect that there will be cameras inside and/or outside your home. However, if I am house sitting for you, I ask that you clearly indicate cameras to me. If the camera situation has changed since the meet and greet, I reserve the right to unplug anything that makes me feel uncomfortable. This helps to keep me safe. SAFETY I never wear earbuds during visits or walks. I use a professional dog walking leash system to keep all parties safe and secure. I keep doors locked at all times. When your dog is in the yard, I will be outside with them or inside for no more than 3 minutes. I do not allow doggy door use, because many things can go wrong. ENVIRONMENT Maintaining a positive environment with your pets is really important to me! Each pet is unique and deserves love and attention. When house sitting, I provide detailed updates with several photos twice a day. I am happy to communicate via text or Rover -- whichever works best for you. CLEANLINESS Please make sure that your home is clean before I come to stay for house sitting. This has been an issue for many bookings, and it can be a very uncomfortable situation for me. I will be using your kitchen to prepare meals, and so I ask that the sink and counters are cleared. I will be using a small area in your fridge and freezer, too. Please make sure that your shower drain is not clogged, and that there are fresh sheets on the bed. If your dogs poop in your yard, please pick up most of it before the booking. I pick up dog poo right away when they go. I always restore the home to as-clean or cleaner than when I arrived.

WALKS Some clients need a brisk walk to get some energy out, and others take slower ones that function more as 'potty breaks'. DROP-INS These are highly personalized! A good fit for pets who need something other than a long walk. I’ll work with you to define what each visit should consist of, including potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and brushing. I'm happy to provide a shorter walk within a drop-in. HOUSE SITTING Your pets will be missing you! Thus, I only really leave the house for errands, the gym, and work. I will be studying and hanging out in your home, as well as preparing meals. I can accommodate daycare pickup and drop off, but please ask me about this at the meet and greet.

Pet care experience
Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs, cats, or farm animals (cows are my favorite). I was hired by family and friends all throughout high school to care for their animals. During college, I worked for a pet care company. There, I fell even more in love with animal care! Most of my clients are walked via my Tiny Horse leash system (not sponsored). This system is specially designed for professional dog walkers and ensures that your pooch and I are safe and secure at all times. I regularly use this system on double dog walks, too! My training experience is limited to walks, so I can help dogs with rudimentary training improve their behaviors on-leash. I may teach them some commands here and there over the course of several visits, but training is not my priority. Thus, I recommend hiring a different pet care expert if you are seeking additional training.

Reviews
Grace is the absolute best! She is wonderfully communicative, and our dog absolutely adores her. She is a pro in every sense of the word, and I am so grateful to be able to rely on her while away.

Grace is the best! Our dogs love her! I love the wonderful pictures and all the updates she sends. We are able to enjoy our vacation whenever she pet sits because we know our dogs are in great hands.

Grace is the best! Our pups are always so happy and relaxed when we get home. Knowing that Grace will do a fabulous job allows us to relax on our trips away too!
Grace is always a wonderful sitter, but she has been particularly fantastic with our pup this winter--it is Penny's first experience with a Minnesota winter, and Grace has been so patient and thoughtful in acclimating her. We are so grateful!
