I am a Silver Spring pet lover with specializations in cat and small animal care. I have 20 years of experience with cats and small dogs of all ages and stages as well as small caged animals including rabbits, rodents, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and more. I adore every animal I meet, and I take the time to get to know their individual personalities. I'm a calm, quiet, and patient person who will take the time to make sure your animal receives the best possible care while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment
I focus on a pet's safety and comfort first-- this is their home, and I'm a stranger to them! I take a slow approach to all new animals, and let them come to me first. I've befriended animals of all personality types-- the friendly ones, the cranky ones, the timid ones, and every kind in between. I will also pay strict attention to their needs, such as feeding amount, medication, and whether or not they are allowed into certain parts of the house and/or around your other animals. I will always be extremely respectful of your home and will make sure to leave it just as I found it.

Schedule
In the summer I have almost complete availability except for Sunday mornings! In the other seasons, my day job runs from September to May, 3:15pm to 6:30pm Mon-Thurs and 9:00am to 5:30pm Sundays. That leaves me with lots of time before and after my shifts to look after pets! I don't mind early morning or late night visits.

- Let me know if your pet has any special needs, medications, its level of friendliness or skittishness, and preferences for toys or type of play. Please also let me know if animals in your house cannot interact with each other for safety reasons (for example, if you are in the process of introducing cats slowly) or if they are forbidden from certain rooms or areas of the house. Also, let me know if you'd like me to come exactly when you've booked my services, or if the time is flexible so I can potentially group visits together in my schedule.
