H! My name is Grace and I am a CO native musician with 20+ years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I have two dogs (Husky, Australian Shepherd mix) who are both rescues. My ethos with animals is to "leave them better than I found them" by helping them feel secure through positive reinforcement and consistent routine. I am the type of person who will send you screenshots of your pet, feed/walk/let out your pet in a timely fashion, and update you should any concern arise. I am familiar and comfortable with dogs who need special care (medication, regular exercise, attachment anxiety, food aggression). At the end of the day I care about giving animals the care they deserve.

I have a large fenced yard for my two dogs to run and play and go potty. When the weather is nice I am often outside with them (chilling, walking, long-boarding). They are brushed and bathed regularly and each have their own dog beds inside for sleeping. I make a point to start my mornings cuddling them both.

Grace provided a wonderful experience for 10 days with Jax. She provided several photos and videos of her interactions with Jax. Even taking him on a walk upon his request on a very cold day. Grace has excellent communication skills and followed my care requests carefully. I highly recommend Grace.

Grace was amazing! She went above and beyond what we were expecting. She was very communicative and provided picture updates daily. Our dogs loved her and had no problem cuddling up with her. Would recommend her to anyone and will definitely be using her again in the future!
Let me start off by saying, I've used rover for years and I've always had good experiences, but on this last trip I used Grace and I had a GREAT experience. I contacted Grace and she come over a few weeks prior to meet the dogs a make sure she fit what I wanted. I needed her to watch my pups at my house because one of my dogs has a medical issue and requires medication. Grace agreed and all was set! Grace provided photos and updates of our dogs everyday and was very responsive. I never had to worry about them being taken care of and it help really enjoy our family vacation. When I returned home, she left a full written breakdown of her observations with our dogs and gave some really good suggestions on how we could help them moving forward. I will continue to use her each and everytime we need a sitter because she is truly the best!

Schedule
Since I am a remote musician I have flexibility in my schedule. I am also active and spend a lot of time on my feet or outside. While occasional appointments are easily doable for me, I am looking for clients who need consistent assistance as I like building a relationship with the animals in my care. You could say I get easily attached! NOTE: Every 3 days I will take a 4hr break to check on my own pets.

- If your dog is special needs or a senior I am more than happy to watch them. Disclosed dog cameras are okay in general living areas but audio recording is illegal in the state of Colorado. Please specify exact arrival and departure times for house-sitting stays. While I am flexible, sits that require me to stay longer than 8+ hrs will result in an additional day charge. Any bookings requests where communication isn’t reciprocated will be dropped after 1 week.
