I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. As long as I have a reliable Wi-Fi connection, I can work from almost anywhere, meaning your pets won't be left alone for long periods. I do occasionally have virtual meetings during the workday, but they're typically brief, allowing me to quickly get back to giving your pets the attention, walks, playtime, and companionship they deserve.

When I care for pets in a client’s home, I treat them and their space with the same respect and attention I would my own. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special instructions to make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you are away. I always take time to give them affection, keep them active, and make sure they are happy and relaxed. I also keep things tidy and make sure your home is just as you left it. Communication is very important to me, so I send updates and photos during each visit so you can feel confident that your pet is well cared for.

Before a stay, I like to learn as much as possible about your pet so I can provide the best care. It's helpful to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite activities, medications, allergies, and any behavioral quirks or anxieties. I also appreciate knowing how they interact with other people and animals, any commands they know, and what helps them feel most comfortable. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and at home while you're away.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to their personality and energy level. For dogs, that might mean long walks, hikes, games of fetch or frisbee, tug-of-war, enrichment toys, or simply spending time outside exploring. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys, laser pointers, climbing activities, or just relaxing together if they're more laid-back. I also love giving pets plenty of affection, cuddles, and one-on-one attention. My goal is to make sure they're happy, active, and comfortable while keeping their routine as consistent as possible.

Pet care experience
Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. In addition to caring for pets through Rover, I previously volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained experience working with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I learned the importance of patience, building trust, and making sure each animal felt safe and comfortable. I've also cared for goats and chickens through family friends and am happy to help with feeding, fresh water, collecting eggs, and making sure they're well cared for. Whether I'm playing fetch with an energetic dog, taking long walks, spending quiet time with a senior pet, or caring for farm animals, I enjoy getting to know each animal's unique personality. I understand that trusting someone with your pets and home is a big decision. I'll treat them with the same love and attention I would my own, while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.
