Ever since I was a kid, I've had love and fascination for all kinds of animals - including dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, snakes, crickets, even fishflies! I understood from a young age that each living creature has a place and a purpose on this planet, and that it's our job as humans to respect them. My home and life have been full of canine love since 2021. My first furry soulmate is Pumpkin, a smushy-faced Shar Pei pitt who loves carrots, long walks, and couch patrol. Years later, at the beginning of 2026, Frankie, a German Shepherd -Lab, came into my life after being a stray for over a year. Her spunk, sweetness, and intelligence taught me very important lessons on acclimation, reactivity training, and understanding a dog's needs on a deeper level. Most recently, a puppy has joined the pack - Violet, in all her piggy glory! She has been Frankie's favorite playmate and Pumpkin's favorite snuggle buddy. I have been sitting on Rover since Fall 2025, and I am overwhelmingly grateful not only for the abundance of wonderful animals that I have had the pleasure of caring for, but also for their owners who have trusted them in my hands. With each booking, I devote my attention to ensuring that the pets are well fed and hydrated, they've received appropriate stimuli from either walks or playtime, and that they've received extra snuggles (if they want them!) I understand that it's also important to take care of the pets' owners as well, so I've prided myself in being an excellent communicator. In this past year, I have cared for all kinds of dogs - puppies, seniors, special needs, bonded pairs, high- and low- energy, you name it! I have also gleefully enjoyed the presence of several cats and even a few bunnies! Whatever the breed or species may be, I do not discriminate one bit :) In short, I have had quite a few years of experience with taking care of pets, and I have proven myself to be communicative and reliable. I have a big heart for all creatures, big & small, and I have more than enough love to go around!

Safety, trust & environment
For any new pet, I understand that a bit of acclimation is necessary to gain the pet's trust. If the owner would like, I can meet the pet ahead of time to determine its temperance level and I'll respect any special needs that the pet has. I will cater my behavior and energy level towards the pet so that it doesn't become overwhelmed. I also have the strength and endurance to take pets for long walks and maintain good leash control. Lastly, I know a number of First Aid / CPR tactics for both dogs & cats alike, and I have the aptitude to learn anything else that is necessary for the pet's care.

Grace was fabulous watching my two ginger cats. I got regular updates and the house was kept clean and tidy. They were just as happy with her as I was. Highly recommend.
Grace was fantastic with my pup! Excellent communication, kept me updated with pictures and let me know when she walked and fed. I felt very comfortable with her in my home and it was left exactly as when she arrived. Wouldn't hesitate to have her watch my dog again!

Schedule
I work remotely and I live in a walkable area, so whether I am needed for a quick walk/drop-in while the pet owner is out of the house or at work, I have ample time throughout the day to take care of the pet.

- Let me know if there are any special medications that need to be administered at certain times throughout the day, or if there are any “normal” behaviors that the pet displays that may be seen as abnormal otherwise. I have experience with both senior-aged & special-needs dogs, so I understand that a little extra patience and attention is needed for these furry friends, which I am very willing to give!
