Grace can care for
Availability
For the safety of your pet, I prefer to keep your pet in an environment they are already used to! For that reason, my services would be in your home. I am currently studying Ecology and Conservation Biology full time, so I will be away 4-8 hours on weekdays depending on the day. On my longer days, I have a large gap between my classes to stop by and give the babies some mid-day lovins! Other than attending school during the day, I will be by their side the rest of the day and night for plenty of play, cuddles, and tlc.

Safety, trust & environment
Mental and physical stimulation are important for any pet! As is safety. While we play at the dog park or go for a walk, keeping them safe is my number one priority! Without a good harness, collar, or leash, your dog could be unsafe. Before each walk, I always use the two-finger rule to check for proper-sizing on the collar. I'm also fluent in dog body language and if your dog says he/she doesn't want to socialize, we won't! Likewise, I'm able to keep your dog safe from other potentially aggressive dogs while we go on a walk or to the park.
Information Grace F. would like to know about your pet
Does your pet have any allergies, dietary restrictions, or medications? Let me know your pet's special needs, feeding schedule, and general routine so I can accommodate accordingly!
A typical day
Exercise and playtime are essential for a healthy, happy pup. We will have a day full of fetch, tug-of-war, and exploring together all the new sights and smells in the neighborhood or at the local dog park! We will enjoy local nature preserves or trails and getting our zoomies out in the backyard! After we get out all of our energy, we'll have plenty of snuggles on the couch!

Pet care experience
Hey, guess what? I'm back in business! After a long hiatus from Rover, I'm more excited than ever to get back to caring for your fur babies! If you're a new client, my name is Grace, nice to meet you! I am a former accredited dog trainer at an animal hospital, I am certified by the American Red Cross in pet first aid, and I spent over 2 years working as a pet-care specialist at PetSmart. At home, I care for my best friend: My aussie, Ellie! She is very high-energy, so we spend a lot of time playing fetch, tug-of-war, or playing outside. There is never a dull moment with her! Before we moved, I had more pets than I could count on both hands.. I loved taking in stray cats and rehabilitating them. On top of 4 strays, I also had 2 rescue cats that were my shadows! At the same time, we had a house full of new-born puppies. If that isn't a happy home, what is? I've trained dogs of all ages, shapes, breeds, and sizes. Puppies are my specialty! My training style is based around positive reinforcement for good behaviors, the best and only way to learn! I have experience with reactive dogs and I am comfortable caring for them and helping to ease their nerves. I even have experience with reptiles, fish, birds, and small animals like mice, hamsters, or guinea pigs. Since I previously worked as a pet-care specialist, I have a lot of experience administering oral medication and helping sick pets get back on their feet. Your pets are safe in my hands and I'm so excited to spend quality time with your fur babies while you're away!

Best of the best! Grace was a fantastic sitter for my dog . A friendly but calm presence and curious to get all the routines, meds and all just right. Kept me informed but not overwhelmed. Fabulous experience!
