initially, i thought grace would be a great sitter! BUT communication was very inconsistent before and after dropping off my pup. drop off and pick up was very rushed and there was little communication during the stay. she had told me she would send pictures to reassure me he was doing okay, but i never got any. i did receive one short video of him being walked around but nothing like the reassurance i've gotten from previous sitters. i texted several times within the first 24 hours of dropping my pup off, she responded a few times at first, but suddenly stopped responding and i didn’t hear anything from her for another (almost) 24 hours! i was worried sick. when she finally responded later in the evening, she told me “she had been napping.” after i didn’t hear anything from her all day. i went to pick up my pup and he came home smelling like weed and body odor. even though i appreciate her watching my dog for me, i do suggest you keep looking for a sitter if you want one that will communicate regularly, reassure your pet’s wellbeing with pictures and videos, and make you feel like your pet is welcome in their home.
