I typically work from about 8 am-4 pm Tuesday through Saturday, but I am happy to check on animals before or after this time and fully pet-sit them on my days off.

I take great pride in leaving the house better than I found it and ensuring the pet feels relaxed the whole time. If it is beneficial for your animal, I would also prioritize taking them out for exercise regularly. This could be as simple as walking around the block or as involved as a big hike or ski tour; I am very flexible!

I would like to know about your dog's degree of house and leash training. I don't mind keeping them on a leash the whole time, but I am also open to letting them roam if you are okay with it. I would also appreciate knowing how social your dog is, both with people and other dogs. Anything else you think would be good to know, too, is great!
A typical day
I love adventuring with dogs! I am passionate about the outdoors, so I spend a lot of time hiking, running, climbing, etc. If you and your dog would like, I would bring them to all my favorite spots and maybe explore some new ones, too. As much as I love being on the go with animals, I also enjoy hanging out with them in a more relaxed setting. I can curate a wonderful day for your dog and adjust it based on what they are enthusiastic about doing.

Pet care experience
I have a lot of experience pet sitting and dog walking. I had a 10-year-old Labradoodle named Roxy, who passed in May of 2022. Since then, I've gotten my dog fix by volunteering at the SLO County Animal Shelter! This has exposed me to a huge variety of pups of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. It has allowed me to really understand these amazing animals and better equip myself with animal care skills. In Truckee, I spend a lot of time hanging out with the various pets in my day to day life, from house cats to office dogs :)

THE BEST!!! She is an amazing, caring, beautiful soul! Roxy loves her and will book her over and over again. She sent us photos all the time updating us on how Roxy is doing. For years we did not have anyone to take care of Roxy and finally Grace came like a blessing from the sky.
