I have worked as a recurring dog sitter for several families over the past five years, each with a different breed of dog (Weimaraner, Schnauzer, Dachshund). This has equipped me with the specific tools and knowledge to provide exceptional care grounded in experience. Additionally, working with a wide range of breeds has afforded me the opportunity to familiarize myself with the varying behaviors and needs of different dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
I take pet health and safety vary seriously, practicing the same standards I use personally to keep my own pets safe. For me, this means maintaining a clean and tidy environment free from any potential hazards (e.g., not leaving chocolate at a level a dog could reasonably reach; making sure gates and doors are closed). In addition to maintaining a safe environment, I try to be emotionally tuned in to the animal I am watching. For instance, when the Weimaraner I watch gets anxious due to people walking past the house, I talk to her in a soft voice and pet her until she calms down. If I zip to the store, I will close the blinds so she is not in a position to be triggered by this stimulus.

Grace has always done a wonderful job taking care of our cat and our home while we are away. She is reliable, attentive, and very communicative. We know our cat is in great hands when she stays with him and our cat loves how much attention and love she gives him. We highly recommend her!
Grace was so good to our girl Ruby while we were gone. She took such great care of her and kept us updated with messages and picture while we were gone. Highly recommended Grace!
Grace was terrific! On time, sweet with our dogs, took some amazing photos she shared with us, and best of all the little guys were calm and happy when we got home. Would absolutely hire her again!
Luckily for us, Grace has watched our dog, Lucy, for the past five years. She's the first person we call because we know Lucy is in safe hands. She'll text pictures and updates regularly and has always worked her schedule around our animal's. She's kind, dependable, responsible and it feels like we're leaving Lucy with family! If you have to leave your pet, she's the best option.

I deferred law school for one year to work on my creative writing. As a result, my schedule is very flexible and conducive to working around your family's unique pet care needs.
