For some reason this person did not show up for the date and time I scheduled and paid for. I did make several attempts to reach this person, but never received any type of response. I also contacted Rover support. They tried to reach this person too. They were not able to make contact either. Fortunately, Rover was able to cancel this booking, and refund my payment.

He did a good job with our dog. Only problem we had is he didn’t communicate real well on the app how our dog was doing, but he did leave a note each time on a paper we left out so once we got home we were able to know when he visited and how things went.

I was out of town for two weeks and didn’t have anyone to take care of my dogs. I hired Gonzalo who had never met my dogs and he did great. He was a huge help he also takes and sends pictures with every visit which I liked a lot. I highly recommend his services.

I am extremely upset and disappointed with this sitter. My dog has severe separation anxiety which is why I use a dog sitter. 1. Wasn’t getting any photos unless I asked. (2 in total and was told in the beginning that he would send me photos through out the stay) 2. Was not getting quick responses 3. He left my dog in a room by him self and I had to come to my sitters place hearing my dog howl and cry. 4. I don’t even know how often he took my dog out because my dog went straight to the bathroom when he was out of his apartment. 5. Who knows how long he kept my dog in this room by himself!??? 6. When I came to pick up my dog he wasn’t there, He told me the reason he couldn’t get my dog right away is because he was doing something but his gf was taking a shower and couldn’t get him. When he came he showed me the room my dog was in and there was no one in the apartment. 7. I was never told that my dog would be left alone, locked in a room by himself. This is a dog owners nightmare to come to a place where you trusted to watch your dog that has severe separation anxiety and your dog is crying and howling with no one in the house. I am so sad that this happened that I don’t feel comfortable using this service. I assumed because this sitter had multiple good reviews that this experience would have been better.

I’ve known him for several years. We used to go to beauty school and that’s how we met. Anyway, I’m always going on trips with my boyfriend so Gonzalo is my babysitter for my 2 year old golden retriever and my toy poodle. He’s great with both of them and treats them as his own.
