Availability
Walk me through the typical schedule with your pup and we’ll adapt. I work from home so going on regular walks during the day is part of our daily routine. On weekends, we’ll spend more time outside on longer walks and will only visit off leash parks with your permission.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my top priority. I ask for your full transparency on your dog’s behaviour (reactivity to triggers) to allow me to prepare. On walks, we won’t enter off leash areas unless you give us permission and we’ll certainly not go off leash in open areas. Your pup will be treated the same way I expect my Cody to be treated! You can look forward to transparent daily updates and observations with photos and videos.

Information Gloria T. would like to know about your pet
Your pup’s comfort, safety and the safety of others are my top priorities. These are my standard questions and topics I cover with all new clients: • What is their energy level? • Describe tendencies/habits. • Describe all level of reactivity and triggers. • What is their high value reward? • Are there medical issues? • Food sensitivities? • Things you do at home that makes them happy? • What commands do they know? • Any training you’re working on? Let me know so I can continue to reinforce. Reactivity can come in a wide range of behaviours. The more information I have, the better we’re set us up for success. Let’s discuss over the phone or in-person.
A typical day
Your pup can look forward to walks 4 times a day in the neighbourhood avoiding as much high traffic areas as possible if that’s a trigger. There is plenty of quiet areas and a nearby trail.

Caring for your pup like my own
Pet care experience
As a long time pet parent, I understand that caring for each dog is unique and personalized to their specific needs. To give you the best service, I will respect your pet parenting style when your pup is under my care. I’m an attentive and patient person you can count on with a growing interest in dog training and behaviour. My husband Richard and I work as a team to make sure your pup gets 1:1 play, walks and belly rubs :) Looking for someone experienced in caring for senior pups with medical needs? I’d be happy to help! My dog Cody is a 8 year old chihuahua-mix. He’s quiet, sweet, and an all around good boy. Cody is a rescue and has come a long way through consistent training. As a matter of fact, we use Rover as a tool to help him socialize with other dogs. With the experience I’ve gained from being a parent to a rescue, I approach all dogs with the same level of awareness and mindset.
Reviews

Gloria was conscientious, kind and professional. We arranged a meet and greet before our scheduled dog sitting booking. She was punctual and asked many great questions to ensure she was prepared. On the day of our dog sitting, she was communicative and I knew I could trust Scout in her care. Pickup was easy and she provided great feedback.

This was such a big step for my sweet puppy and her first time sleeping anywhere but at her home. Gloria and her pup Cody were so warm and welcoming and so loving. They truly made the experience so positive and safe and fun for Emma. I was thrilled. I loved the updates which truly helped me breathe with relief that Emma was enjoying herself in this new setting. Emma will definitely be spending time there again! That's for sure! Thank-you so much Gloria for bringing this wonderful experience to Emma.

Gloria was amazing with Tessa. I was nervous to leave her with someone totally new for the first time but we did a meet and greet and gloria sent me tons of updates to make me feel at ease the whole time.

We were so happy to have Gloria care for Zoë while we were away! From the start, she was incredibly responsive and kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Zoë was in great hands and being very well cared for. Gloria quickly adapted to Zoë’s routine (and her very specific treat demands), and it was obvious she took the time to really understand her personality and needs. We could tell Zoë felt comfortable, relaxed, and loved during her stay. We’re so grateful for the care and attention Gloria gave her and wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again in the future
