Gloria did an outstanding job, on less than a days notice. She walked our fur babies and had them dressed for the funeral service for their mommy.

Great care to two young puppies for a long weekend. Gloria was wonderful with communicating and sharing photo updates.

Appreciate Gloria taking in my two boys. Didn’t like the down play of a tussle they got into. Not her fault because boys will be boys. Just wished the injuries were communicated more accurately.

I had a terrible experience booking with Gloria. I wouldn't even give her 1 star but had to to be able to write this. Mind you I've used Rover about 15 times for my Mooni and have NEVER had a bad experience so please don't let this review stop you from using Rover. I booked with Gloria 4 days prior to the day I needed her. I booked her for a Boarding service for about 24 hours of care. When I arrived to her apartment, first off her Rover number was inactive which I thought was strange. So I messaged her and told her we arrived. She messaged me back and said her boyfriend would be there for "pick up", but then he's the one who came out to get Mooni so I assumed it was a typo and she meant "drop off". Mooni happily went with him and Gloria had good reviews so I didn't think much of it. She was also being very responsive at that time. I asked her to send me photos/updates of him and I got zero updates for about 8 hours. And any time I asked her anything she wouldn't respond for 2-3 hours. I asked her for a phone number in case I needed to call her and didn't get a response on that for almost 4 hours. I was starting to think that she actually wasn't watching my dog and that it was her boyfriend who was doing it which I wasn't okay with knowing that I paid for someone who was a certified and background checked Rover sitter. I was so nervous the whole night not hearing from her (I was at a friend's wedding) that I ended up picking Mooni up early. It completely ruined my night. I told Gloria I was coming to get him because the lack of communication was ruining my night and she didn't respond to that until an hour later also. When I arrived the boyfriend answered the door of course and she was no where in sight. Mooni also reeked like Marijuana and none of his food had been eaten... Gloria argued with me telling me it was basically my fault and that I was told her boyfriend would be there (I wasn't other than the message I got when I arrived about him being there for "pick up"), and she argued that I was supposed to of scheduled a meet and greet so that I would of known what was going to happen? But I booked with her 4 days prior and she NEVER mentioned needing a meet and greet... She ALSO told me she was with her kids and that she was out with them and came back to the apartment to put them down which was also a violation because she specifically had in her profile that children would not be present and I specifically needed a sitter with no children because Mooni isn't used to kids and so I'm more comfortable not having them around him when I'm not present. She argued with me about that and said there's clearly kids in her photos so I should of known there would be kids there... oh and she also said I was racist for not being okay with all of this of course... She also told me in her argument that her dad is a lawyer and that she knows the law which was very random considering I wasn't trying to take legal action against her I just wanted her to take responsibility for her actions which she never did... it was all apparently my fault... I ended up reporting her to Rover in hopes that if she continues to get bad reports like this she will be removed from the site. They were able to see our conversation and agreed that what happened was 100% a violation on her end.

My highly anxious dog had a wonderful vacation! Gloria made him so comfortable he didn’t cry when I left, and he was a happy boy when I got back. Loved the pictures Gloria sent me! It was comforting knowing my baby was in good hands. He’s a rescue that I have had for less than 2 months, so I am beyond grateful for finding such a great last minute board for him.
