I am retired, and Mark is semi-retired; he works outside of our home. However, when he is home, he enjoys spending time with each dog, whether playing inside the house, outside, or walking in the neighborhood. (Weather permitting.) Outside, there is enough room for playing ball and chasing squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks & birds!

Having a large fenced-in yard makes it easy to go out & play with them. We enjoy taking pictures of them while they are here to send to their parents so they will know how they are doing! We make sure the beds, blankets, toys, and dog dishes are cleaned & the water is replaced often. We use the owner's feeding schedule.

We always ask to meet the parents & dogs before they stay here. We need the dog's names & ages. Name & number of their vet. Emergency names & numbers. Are they UTD on shots? Do they get along with other dogs or people? Are there special needs for them? Are they housebroken? How do they let you know they need to go out? How often & is there a set time to eat? Do you free-feed? How do they handle being left alone if that happens?
A typical day
We have a safe & friendly neighborhood that we love walking in when the weather is nice. Our backyard is fenced in & enjoy playing ball with the dogs. Inside, we have dog toys, dishes, blankets, beds & some outfits that we sometimes put on the dogs, take pictures of, and send to their "parents" so they will know they are okay.

Pet care experience
Mark (my husband) and I have had a dog for a long time. We lost our last dog when he reached 18+ and had a tumor in his heart. We had to have him put down at that point. We care for each dog as if it were our own. We have a large, fenced-in yard, along with dog toys, beds, blankets, and dishes. We only accept dogs from one family at a time.

Another great visit with Gloria! Buddy always comes home happy, well cared for, and relaxed. So relaxed that he’s crashed and been asleep for the last two hours. I think maybe he had a really good time It’s such a comfort knowing he’s in loving, capable hands while we’re away. Gloria M. was wonderful with my Luna. She loved them and had so much fun in their backyard chasing squirrels and chipmunks. Gloria took her for walks and played with her. They love dogs and have toys, dog beds and dishes for them. I will use them every time I travel if I can book with them. She is the perfect grandmother for my Luna. She picks up Luna and gives her a hug and kiss. While I was away, they sent me messages and little videos of Luna so that I knew how she was doing so that I didn’t worry about her. Thank you so much for taking care of my Luna.
Summer had a vacation with Gloria and Mark! We are so appreciative of the care she gets while we are away every time she stays with you.
“First time ever boarding our Pomeranian, and Gloria was amazing. We had told her he’s scared of thunderstorms, and of course there was a huge storm the one night he stayed.
