Pet care experience
I have taken care of pets for animals for well over 20 years and was the manager of a pet sitting and dog walking business for a few years as well. I was also an assistant to an ethical dog breeder and helped deliver and raise a litter of teacup schnauzers. For the past year I was traveled full time in the UK and Canada as a pet and house sitter. I enjoyed it so much wanted to keep taking gigs now that I'm back in the US! I love learning the personalities of each of my pet clients and learning to adapt to their quirks. I'm getting pretty good at taking pet pics so you may get something frameable in one of my pet updates! Apart from working part time as a massage therapist on the weekends in ~4.5 hour shifts, I mostly work from home so your pet would have company more often than not. I know how to administer oral and topical medications and can be easily trained to administer IV medications if needed.

Gloria did a great job for us looking after our house rabbit Cinnabun! She was very easy to communicate with leading up to and during the sit, and she sent us updates to put our minds at rest while we were away. The house was beautifully clean and tidy when we got home, and we really enjoyed getting to know her while she was with us as well. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!
Gloria stayed at my home for 10 days looking after my kitty and was very communicative and friendly! She took great care of Ayla and my home, sending me pictures and updates and was quick to clarify any questions or concerns. She was also quick to respond to my texts and left the house in great shape when I returned. Would definitely have her back!
Gloria cared for my dog for 11 days in my home & she was excellent, it was the longest I had left my dog so I appreciated her patience in the beginning of my holiday as I was checking in more regularly than usual. Bertie really loved Gloria & was very happy during the time I was away. My dog has some health issues but Gloria was very attentive with the instructions I had given, which was great as it meant one less thing to worry about.
Gloria was an absolutely wonderful house and pet sitter. During the three months we were in Brazil, she took exceptional care of both our home and our two dogs, Luna and Pocah. She consistently kept us updated on how everything was going, sending messages about the dogs, the house, and even letting us know whenever mail or packages arrived. It gave us great peace of mind to know that everything was being looked after so attentively while we were away. Gloria was also extremely reliable and professional. She was punctual both at the beginning and end of the sit, left the house spotless and perfectly organized, and even helped us handle a few unexpected situations that came up at the house during our trip. Most importantly, Luna and Pocah were clearly very well cared for. Before Gloria left, the dogs kept following her around asking for affection, which is always the best sign that they felt safe, loved, and comfortable with her. It was obvious that they truly adored her. Anyone who has the chance to have Gloria as a sitter will be very lucky. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did and wish her all the best. We truly hope our paths cross again in the future. Luna and Pocah were very lucky to spend those three months with her.
