A typical day
I want to become their trust worthy friend so I spoil them with extra treats, if you don't mind, play with them in their yard and if weather permits go for a short walk, just to pick up some new scents. When I make the last visit of the day, if your dog has a Gong or a hollow bone, I like to put peanut butter in them. That will keep them occupied for a while so they won't be lonely.

Pet care experience
I haven't met too many dogs or cats I haven't liked. Though some take more time to warm up to you, just show them you care by giving them attention even though they act like they don't want it and they'll come around. I've always had dogs & cats, some times both at the same time, and wouldn't be without one or the other. As a newly retired person, I want to stay active and not become a couch potato. So by caring for your pets it would give me the opportunity to get out and meet other people. II've always had pets in my home so I clearly understand how important they are.
