Welcome! I'm Glisel, and for the past 10 years I've been caring for dogs and their families across Mecklenburg County and surrounding areas. What started as a passion became a profession and after a decade, I can honestly say this work fills my heart. My partner and I are a young professional couple with no kids and no pets of our own — which means when your dog comes to stay, they have our complete, undivided attention. Just them. We only host one dog at a time, always. I have a soft spot for senior dogs. There is something sacred about caring for an older animal, the slower pace, the trust they give you, the way they just settle in and sigh. I've cared for dogs with arthritis (including carrying them to and from the yard), diabetes, and various medical conditions requiring daily medication and injections. Your dog's age or medical needs are never a deterrent, they're the reason I do this. I specialize in calm, lower-energy dogs who thrive in a quiet, loving home environment. If your dog is happiest being cozy, going on leisurely neighborhood walks and soaking up human companionship, we are going to be a perfect match.

This was our first time using a pet sitter and Glisel exceeded our expectation. She was so friendly and loving to our 2 cats, she was communicative with us, & also would do small favors for us like water our plants on our very long trip. We will absolutely be using her again if we take another long trip.
We were very happy and satisfied with how Glisel took care of our cat. She was responsive, and what impressed me most was her punctuality.

My partner and I both work from home, which means your dog is genuinely never alone. I run my own digital business from my home office, and more often than not, your pup will be right there with me while I work. We live a calm home life which translates beautifully into a consistent and predictable routine for your pet. No chaos, no rushing. Just steady, attentive presence all day long.

I understand that every client has unique preferences and requirements, and I am committed to tailoring my services accordingly. We can discuss and go over the details on a client-by-client basis to ensure that your pet's needs are met and their well-being is prioritized. Your trust and satisfaction are my top priorities, and I'm dedicated to providing the highest level of care for your pet. Your dog will have the run of our home in Berewick. We live in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood in Steele Creek the area. Inside, your dog has full access to our main living areas, cozy couches, plenty of space to stretch out and all the companionship they could want. Our upstairs is available too when my partner or I are working up there, so they're never far from a human. At night they can sleep in the guest bedroom with me. Yes, I relocate for my furry guests 😊 Because we host one dog at a time exclusively, your pet never has to share space, attention or energy with another animal. This is their home for the duration of their stay. Please note that because we don't have a fenced backyard, I ask that all dogs are leash-comfortable. Walks are taken on leash through our beautiful neighborhood trails which honestly most senior dogs prefer anyway.
A typical day
Mornings start with a leisurely walk through the neighborhood we have gorgeous tree-lined trails right outside our door. After that it's cozy home time and your dog can hang out with me in my office, lounge on the couch or simply nap in a sun spot while we go about our day. You'll receive regular photo and video updates so you can see exactly how your pup is doing. Mealtimes and medications are administered on your dog's exact schedule. Consistency matters, especially for senior pets. Evenings are the coziest part, the three of us just decompress together like a little family. Bedtime is unhurried and comfortable, always.
