Professional dog and cat lover! I grew up with dogs and lived with many cats. I started by dog/cat sitting for family and friends. While living in NYC I worked as a personal assistant which included dog sitting and house management. I have a special gift of caring for senior dogs and animals with special needs. My work is more flexible than most, my shifts are typically 7 hours/4 days a week. I am a bit of a home body and love to stay in for extra cuddle time with your fur babies. I'm typically able to keep your pets on their regular schedule and give them any extra attention they may need. While dog sitting in your home I'm happy to administer (most) meds, gather mail, take out the trash, water your plants/garden as needed. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

I've been doing this for more than 20 years! I've been the go-to person for dog, cat and/or house sitter with friends and family for the last 20 years. I was raised to leave a place cleaner than I left it, and that is a rule I stand by. I treat other people's homes with a great deal of respect. I personally love returning to a clean and cozy home when I return from a trip...I try to do the same for others. In general, animals do better when they are able to stay in familiar surroundings and that has brought a lot of comfort to clients and their pets in the past. Their pets are typically able to stick to their regular routine and be in a familiar place with a lot of personal attention.

Glenna was amazing with our 16 year old maltipoo Daisy while we were away for a week. Daisy tends to be very anxious, but she quickly felt at ease and relaxed staying in Glenna’s home. Daisy can be somewhat needy and demanding, but Glenna accommodated her routine which includes frequent walks/potty breaks and treats. Glenna allowed Daisy to sleep where she felt most comfortable at night, either in her crate or in bed with Glenna. She was also able to apply medicine to one of Daisy’s warts daily. We had a lot of concern about leaving Daisy at a boarding facility, and were thrilled to find Glenna at the last minute before our trip. We can’t emphasize enough how much peace of mind it brought to us knowing Daisy was comfortable, loved on, and cared for so well while we were away. We highly recommend Glenna for dog care and would definitely use her again if needed!!
Glenna is great with my disabled dog, Gizmo. Gizmo has a balance disorder and I have previously struggled to find a dog sitter who was able to meet all of her needs. Glenna has been patient and tentive with Gizmo every time she watches her. I also love that Glenna stays at my place when I travel - rather than just popping in for an hour or two to feed and care for Gizmo!
Glenna has done such a wonderful job with my Westie, Archie. I can tell he has gotten a lot of attention and had a lot of fun. Glenna will go the extra mile to be sure your pets needs are met!
Have had Glenna pet sit for us often. She is amazing with our two older dogs. Both of our dogs are strong willed and can be hard to handle. Glenna knows how to work with them. They are also on prescription meds and have dietary issues. Glenna is very careful and caring with both of our dogs. She spends the night at our house and is extremely tidy and trustworthy. Our home and dogs are in the best of hands with Glenna
Glenna has been dog sitting for me for several years now and I don't trust anyone else to do so. She's reliable, responsible, and her attention to detail is noteworthy. She absolutely loves animals and takes great care, even noticing health issues with my dogs that I had overlooked. Highly recommend Glenna, but hope she doesn't become too busy to dog sit for me!
Glenna is the best!! Our two dogs love her and are always excited to see her coming. Having Glenna look after the boys when we travel is so much better than boarding them.

Schedule
I work 4 days a week at a small office in Webster. Most of my shifts are about 7 hours (off Tuesdays). I'm also a bit of a homebody and happy to stay in on the weekends with your pets. This means your pet will get a lot of cuddle and play time with me!
