Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Glenn Peralta, a passionate animal lover with over 4 years of professional experience in pet care. My journey started with a simple love for animals and has grown into a full-fledged dog sitting business where I provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for your furry friends. I have a deep understanding of different breeds and their unique needs, and I am well-versed in handling all types of animals, not just dogs. My experience ranges from caring for energetic puppies to providing special care for senior dogs. I am also trained in basic pet first aid and CPR, ensuring your pet's safety is my top priority. My goal is to provide your pet with the same love and care they receive at home, making their time with me enjoyable and stress-free. I believe in building a personal connection with each pet, understanding their personality, and catering to their specific needs. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I am committed to providing the best care possible for your beloved pet. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member soon!
Reviews
First of all, this was our first time using Rover and we can’t find enough great things to say about Glenn! We booked on incredibly short notice during Christmas for house sitting and care for our two cats and two dogs. Glenn was amazing! He came over to meet us before we booked and got to spend time with all of our animals. He took time with each of them and asked questions about them and learned their personalities. We were in a different state and missing our babies dearly but Glenn came through with pictures and videos! He even gave our pets their Christmas presents and snuggled them for us. Glenn has so much experience and is such a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional individual. He responds quickly and genuinely loves and cares for your fur babies. If you want your pets to be In the best hands possible, book with Glenn! :)
One of the reasons that I came to Rover over my local vet's boarding system is because my pup always loses a scary amount of weight whenever I had to go on work trips. Glenn sent me videos every day of them playing and eating which was very reassuring, and I picked up my pups in the exact happy condition that I left them. I would recommend Glenn to any nervous pet parents, he is awesome.
Great sitter! Will defiantly use in the near future
Absolutely wonderful! Able to take a last minute reservation. Sends pictures daily. Will definitely use him again!

I offer both in-home and client's home pet care services, and my approach varies depending on the service chosen. In my home, I have a dedicated space for pets where they can play, rest, and eat. I ensure that the environment is safe, clean, and comfortable for them. I follow a structured routine that includes regular walks, feeding according to the pet's diet, playtime, and rest. I also make sure to give them plenty of attention and love, just like they would receive at home. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect their space and follow the routines that the pets are accustomed to. This includes feeding them at their usual times, walking them in their familiar neighborhood, and playing with their favorite toys. I also ensure to keep the home clean and tidy, especially the pet's area. In both scenarios, I prioritize communication with the pet owners. I provide regular updates about their pet's activities, behavior, and well-being. I am also always available to answer any questions or concerns they might have. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.

Information Glenn P. would like to know about your pet
Knowing important information about a dog ahead of time is crucial for providing the best care possible. Here are some key details that I find important to know: 1. Medical history: It's essential to be aware of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that the dog may have. This helps me provide appropriate care and be prepared for any potential health concerns. 2. Behavior and temperament: Understanding a dog's behavior and temperament helps me tailor my approach and ensure their comfort and safety. Information about their sociability with other dogs, interactions with strangers, and any specific triggers or fears is valuable. 3. Daily routine: Knowing the dog's regular routine, including feeding times, exercise preferences, and sleep patterns, allows me to maintain consistency and minimize any disruptions to their routine. 4. Training and commands: If the dog has undergone any training or responds to specific commands, it's important to know this information. It helps me maintain consistency and reinforce positive behaviors during their stay. 5. Emergency contacts: Having emergency contact information, including the owner's contact details and the contact information of the dog's veterinarian, is crucial in case of any unforeseen circumstances or emergencies. By gathering this information ahead of time, I can ensure that the dog's needs are met, and I can provide a safe and comfortable environment for them during their time in my care.

In that case, our walks will be focused on local parks and trails, which offer plenty of space for dogs to explore and enjoy. I also have a secure backyard where dogs can play and run around safely. For those dogs who enjoy socializing, with the owner's permission, we can visit local dog parks for some off-leash fun. If your dog prefers quieter environments, we can stick to peaceful neighborhood walks or playtime in my backyard. Regardless of the location, I always ensure that the dogs get plenty of exercise and outdoor time, tailored to their individual needs and preferences.

Pet care is not just a part of my routine, it's my lifestyle. Being home daily allows me to dedicate my time and attention to the pets I care for. I ensure that every dog gets walked every two hours, providing them with regular exercise and a chance to explore the outdoors. In addition to regular walks, I also follow a structured daily routine that includes feeding, playtime, and rest periods. I understand that every pet is unique and may require different care routines, so I always make sure to follow the specific instructions provided by the owners. Moreover, I also set aside time each week for deep cleaning of pet areas, toys, and bedding to maintain a clean and healthy environment. In essence, pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily and weekly routine, ensuring that your pet receives consistent and dedicated care while they are with me.
