I am currently working full time as a Registered Veterinary Technician in North Vancouver. I work 10hr shifts every Wednesdays to Saturdays. My availability is most flexible from Sunday through Tuesday, where I can offer in-home pet sitting and overnight stays. During these days, I’m able to accommodate a variety of routines, including early mornings, evening walks, and pets who need more frequent care or medication schedules. I’m comfortable caring for multi-pet households and pets with specific needs. I aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Availability can vary depending on existing bookings, so I recommend reaching out in advance — especially for holidays or longer stays. I love keeping pets both physically active and mentally engaged. For dogs, I incorporate enrichment into our time together—whether that’s exploring new environments on walks or using puzzle feeders to keep their minds busy and stimulated. For cats, I enjoy encouraging their natural hunting instincts through interactive play, like wand toys, treat hunts around the home, and cat-friendly puzzle activities. I tailor each visit to suit your pet’s personality and energy level. Of course, I’m always happy to provide plenty of cuddles, affection, and one-on-one attention to make your pet feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

Gladys was our saviour last week, when we had to leave town suddenly and our dog had just injured his foot badly. She came to our rescue with loving care for both of our dogs, with kind attention, frequent rebandaging and professional monitoring of our dog's injury. Gladys was highly communicative, providing updates and photos of the foot, along with more fun photos of our pups. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Gladys has lots of experience with the care for animals and has a huge love for them. She also is very good with people and ensuring transparency and communication is kept when caring for others fur babies. She has helped me take care of my two cats, Rufus and Nugget who are the closest to children I will ever have and ensures they are spoiled and loved. Any pet that she takes care of will be loved and treated with the respect and kindness they deserve. She has experience with pets wirh medical needs, so she is able to help with pets who need medications or certain medical at home care for house sitting.
