Availability
As a university student, my schedule is structured but more flexible than a full-time job. I’m available for morning walks and pet care early in the day, and after 7–8 PM I have plenty of time to give pets the attention they need, whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company. I’m also open to overnight stays when needed. Pet care is already a natural part of my routine thanks to my own pets, so it easily fits into my daily life.

I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or medication, so they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I ensure that the home is left clean and tidy, just as I found it, and always communicate clearly with the owner. My goal is to make both pets and their humans feel completely at ease.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for animals since I was a child. I grew up with a dog and currently live with four cats, aged 2, 8, 10, and 15. One of them has thyroid disease, so I’m familiar with administering medication and supporting pets with special health needs. I’m very comfortable in multi-pet households and attentive to their individual personalities and routines. Growing up in Turkey, I regularly interacted with groups of stray dogs—feeding, comforting, and playing with them. This experience taught me how to read animal behavior and build trust with dogs of all temperaments. In addition to personal experience, I’ve also volunteered at a sea turtle rescue hospital, where I assisted with feeding, cleaning, and medical care. I worked both in the field, helping hatchlings reach the sea and protecting nests, and in the intensive care unit. I’ve also helped care for my friend’s two dogs during extended visits, taking full responsibility for walks, feeding, and occasional bathing. Whether it’s providing affection, daily routines, or special care, I treat every animal like family.

As Gizem’s mother, I’ve watched her grow up with a deep love and compassion for animals. Even as a young girl, she would care for stray animals in our neighborhood, feeding them and making sure they were okay. She often played with and took care of stray dogs, treating them as if they were her own. At home, she has always been gentle, responsible, and attentive with our pets.
