Lakefront Getaway
You can rest assured that your pets are well loved while you are on vacation. We have an open door policy: dogs in and outside as often as they want. The yard is spacious and fenced in on 3 sides, the 4th is lakefront. I am a registered nurse but spend most of my days working from home. I enjoy the active dog who will get me out of the house for some exercise as well as the senior dog who just needs a pair of feet to curl up by. Bring your labs and other swimmers to us in the summer! In the winter we get lots of laps in running around the lake. I have three young children who are very loving and respectful towards our dog guests. We have been sitting dogs for years and have several repeat customers. Please contact me with any questions. I am happy to work with you on longer stays and/or multiple dogs. I look forward to hearing from you!

Safety, trust & environment
I like to follow home routines and schedules as much as possible. This will keep your pets at ease while you are away. Please let me know if your animal prefers specials toys, treats or bedding from home. A note for injured or senior dogs with mobility issues: access to the main living area in our house is by stairs only. We can assist dogs up to 60lbs up the stairs if needed. There is ground level access to the basement.

A typical day
Plenty of walks, playing fetch, frequent potty breaks. For higher energy dogs I can take for longer runs or bike rides. We can take trips to the dog park based on preference.
