I grew up with pets and have taken care of them since I was 12. My first pet was an extra high-energy Boxer that lived in an apartment, therefore, she required a lot of attention e.g. walking and running multiple times a day, feeding, playing, bathing, brushing, going to the vet, etc.. to make sure she didn't destroy the house. Since then I looked after small dogs (e.g. Pincher) and extra-large dogs (e.g. dog de Bordeaux). I currently own a one year old Border Collie and attempting to train her. Most of my dogs also lived with cats and they learned to live and thrive together. I love all kinds of dogs/cats, my extended family always had animals (yes, pigs included!).
