I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 5 years old and love animals! I have experience with bathing, playing, training, and also delivering puppies. I've always been the first person to volunteer to pet-sit for my family and friends.

Gissell was great with our dog Muncy! She was super communicative and was respectful of our time and space, and made sure Muncy was comfortable with her. Muncy loved her and was super excited when she got to our house!
Gissell is a true gem! She is hard working, reliable, flexible, and a good communicator. Gissell has been caring for my 3 large-sized dogs for a while through easy times and hard times (e.g., when my senior dog was seriously ill, when I foolishly fostered 8 puppies). I couldn’t have asked for a more trustworthy, compassionate person to look after my family. Hire Gissell, and you won’t regret it!

Gissell was great with my 4 month old puppy. She is friendly, easy to communicate with and cares about the pets. My puppy loves her and was always happy to see her. She kept me updated about my puppy throughout the stay which made me feel very much at peace. I'll definitely have her sit my puppy again.

Gissell is so great with pets. My dog is absolutely crazy about her. Whenever my dog sees her she's ignoring anyone else and jumping all over her licking her face. She's a true pet lover and has a great attitude with them. Taking care of pets is completely natural for her.

Schedule
I'm currently in LA for the summer for an internship and would love to fill my free time up with some pet cuddles! Whether it be a dog or cat, I truly love being around animals and would love to help someone's pet feel loved while they're away.

Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure pets in my care are in my line of sight and consistently check their food & water bowls to make sure they're eating or if they may be hungry. Along with this, I make an effort to be energetic (depending on the pet’s personality) and give them at least a couple of hours of enrichment.

A typical day
My favorite thing about taking care of pets is the cuddles and play time! I usually first make sure to take them outside if they need to use the restroom and ensure they have plenty of water. Afterwards, I'll find their favorite toy and we'll play until they've let me know they're tuckered out which will transition our time into nap/cuddle time (depending on the pet's personality of course).
