Fun dog walks & kitty purs!!!
For my safety & to ensure proper care of your dogs, all dog clients must have proof that they have graduated from puppy school, basic obedience training & are comfortable with meeting pet sitters once before a stay starts, including small dogs. (This doesn't include puppies under 6 months of age). Growing up with dogs & cats, studying animal behavior in college and working as a groomer before my kids were born gave me a lot of experience with dogs & cats of all sizes. My dogs lived long healthy lives & are now romping in the fields the sky... RIP Dizzy, Chubby, Flashy & Bitsy. I absolutely love dogs. My first "friend" was a puppy that my parents got us when I was under 5 years old. I grew up with 3 dogs in my home & friends with multiple dogs in their homes. I also raised a litter of puppies with my Dizzy & Flash, Bitsy is their daughter, we kept our runt. Best dogs ever & they were wonderful around my triplet sons. I also grew up around cats & I have owned 3 cats. I understand how each cat is just a furry person who can't speak my language. So, I respect thier boundaries & make sure thier food & water are available. I make sure the litter box is cleaned daily & there isn't litter all over the floor. And, I give them the space to come to me for affection. Some cats just don't want that & that is ok. Some cats never visit me & that is ok. As long as they do normal cat things when I am gone. Other cats can't get enough affection & we sometimes take a short cuddle nap on a recliner... Or, we play with things... I am a dog person because dogs always want to meet me, play with me, get petted by me. Dogs love me because I always make them feel like they are important. I speak directly to them & always let them get in a good sniff before petting them. They relax under my care & I give a really soothing belly rub. I understand everything about them & love to pet them, talk to them, take them some place new to explore. They know that I have been around dogs my entire life & that makes them very happy to see me, even for the first time. Owners appreciate my ability to bring home a happy clean dog. I respect your space & always put the dogs items back where they belong.

I always do a meet & greet with new clients to establish boundaries & trust. We talk about the pet needs & how to maintain a secure home while they are gone.

Giselle is the best. Our almost 17 year old Toy Fox Terriers love her and we are so thankful she is so caring and patient in caring for them. Highly recommend her to care for your pups too!
She developed a relationship with Malcolm very quickly and always took the best care of him.

I have hesitated to leave this review. While it is not my intent to ruin someone's business or livelihood, I was very disappointed when Giselle informed me via text on just her 3rd visit, that she would not be coming back, leaving us with no petcare for our 3 animals. Our animals were essentially abandoned. I scrambled to find coverage by contacting friends and neighbors, until I could make it back early from our trip. Giselle stated that our dog was aggressive. That is uncharacteristic of her. We believe that our dog was deeply depressed without us and refused to cooperate. I do not blame Giselle if she feared for her safety. However, leaving 3 pets with no care is not okay. I am hesitant to use the services of Rover.com again as this was our first experience.

Schedule
I only do drop in visits or 30 min walks visits. I do not offer boarding or over night stays. My hours of operation are from 7am to 1pm & 5pm to 8pm, 7 days a week. My availability is determined by the current schedule for the dates you are requesting.
