I am currently not working after finishing a placement as an Articling Student. I adore animals and would love the opportunity to spend my day taking care of and providing companionship to someone’s beloved pet. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate different availabilities.

Let me know if your pets have any special needs or medical conditions I need to account for. I would also like to know about any reactivity issues (resource guarding, leash reactivity, dog reactivity, etc.) so I can plan accordingly. My previous dog had resource guarding issues that we worked through and overcame and I am open to all dogs.
A typical day
I am happy to take them on walks to the park and play fetch or whatever they enjoy doing while on their walks. While in the home, I can provide them with enrichment toys (like a puzzle mat or lick mat) teach them new basic tricks and any other activities they may enjoy doing at home.

I was recently an owner to two senior dogs. One of my dogs was 13 years old and unfortunately passed in March 2026 after a 13 month battle with TCC. She was on two different medications daily and had accidents frequently due to the cancer so I am uniquely aware of the medical-related challenges and skills required for senior dog care. I also had a senior dog ( almost 15y) that passed. She was diabetic, had seizures and required extra attention. As such I am very well aware of the need and attention senior dogs require. I am also good with training basic commands and am happy to implement these on daily walks.
