Safety, trust & environment

Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities! I provide a loving, structured home environment where every dog is treated like a member of the family. I have a large, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and my own friendly, well-socialized dogs love meeting new friends. Since dog boarding is my full-time job, your pup won't be left alone for long periods. They'll spend their days with me in the home, enjoying plenty of supervision, attention, playtime, and affection. To ensure a safe, happy, and stress-free environment for everyone, my home is exclusively open to dogs that are both child-friendly and dog-friendly. I am unable to accept dogs with a history of aggression, resource guarding, or reactivity toward children or other dogs. Thank you for understanding that the safety and well-being of my family and all the pets in my care is always my top priority! To help everyone have a safe and restful night, I typically kennel dogs at bedtime. This routine helps prevent overnight accidents or conflicts and ensures everyone gets a good night's sleep. That said, I know every dog is unique. If your dog isn't comfortable in a kennel, just let me know before their stay, and I'll do my best to accommodate their individual needs while keeping all pets safe. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your dog is in a safe, caring, and experienced home while you're away.

Important Boarding Requirements Before scheduling your dog's stay, please review our mandatory health and training requirements. To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets in our care, we cannot accept any dogs who do not meet these criteria. 1. Up-to-Date Vaccinations: Your dog must be current on the following vaccinations: Rabies Bordetella (for kennel cough) DHPP/DAPP (Distemper, Hepatitis/Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) Canine Influenza Leptospirosis 2. The 10–14 Day Waiting Period: All required vaccines must be administered at least 10 to 14 days prior to your dog's scheduled check-in date. This window ensures your dog’s immune system has built adequate protection and covers any necessary waiting periods. 3. Proof of Vaccination: You must provide official, up-to-date vaccination records from your veterinarian. Please request these in advance and bring them with you, as proof is strictly required before we can accept your pet. 4. Parasite Prevention: All dogs must be actively on monthly heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. 5. House Training: We require all boarding dogs to be fully potty trained, unless the dog is a puppy in training. 6. Crate usage: For the safety of all fur-babies, we place dogs in separate crates for overnight stays, unless noted that your doggy does not do well in a crate. I'll do my best to accommodate their individual needs while keeping all pets safe. 7. Friendliness & Guarding: To ensure a safe, happy, and stress-free environment for everyone, my home is exclusively open to dogs that are both child-friendly and dog-friendly. I cannot accept dogs with a history of aggression, resource guarding, or reactivity toward children or other dogs. Please inform me of any known allergies, important medical history, and if the dog takes medication- please advise me on dosage instructions.

A typical day

A typical day with us is entirely dependent on your dog's unique needs and routine, as every dog is different. We believe the best stay is one that feels just like home. If your dog is high-energy, loves the outdoors, and thrives on playtime, we will make sure their day is filled with plenty of fun, activities, and exercise. Our yard is fully fenced, and we have a strong metal front gate that can only be opened electronically, so your pup can play safely and securely. On the other hand, if your pet is more laid-back and prefers a mellow, quiet day of lounging, we will do just that. To help us provide the best care possible, we love for owners to fill us in on their dog's personality and what a normal day looks like at home. Our goal is to replicate that familiar routine as much as possible. We will also send you daily picture updates so you can see exactly how much fun your dog is having. Rest assured that whatever your dog's specific needs may be, we will always do our absolute best to keep them happy, comfortable, and safe.

My WFH job is dog sitting: LOVE IT!

Pet care experience

Hey there! Just call me Gio—everyone does. Growing up in a home with multiple dogs and animals, caring for pets is a lifelong passion that has never stopped. Today, my home is still filled with my own beloved dogs and pets, and pet sitting is my full-time job. Because I work from home your dog will enter a well-socialized, animal-friendly environment and receive attentive, round-the-clock care. Your pup will rarely be alone. Through my current pack, extensive rescue & foster work, and lifetime of pet ownership, I’ve experienced it all. I am entirely comfortable and experienced with every stage of life. From Puppy Energy to Senior Serenity. I am fully confident in administering oral medications and managing specific care routines. More than anything, my goal is to make your dog feel completely safe, happy, and loved while you are away. I treat every guest with the exact same dedication, patience, and warmth that I give to my own pets.

Literally the most trustworthy person I’ve ever met! Giovanna is the sweetest person and is such an animal lover that she cares so deeply for each and every animal that steps foot into her house. I had to go on a week long vacation and was so worried about leaving my puppies with just anyone. Upon meeting Giovanna, i saw how loving she was with them without even knowing them. They were so comfortable and happy the entire stay. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needed a pet sitter. Thank you so much for being so amazing once again!

I wholeheartedly recommend Gio to anyone looking for exceptional pet care. As a devoted dog owner, finding someone I truly trust with my fur babies is incredibly important, and Gio has earned that trust time and time again. She took wonderful care of my Pomeranian whenever I needed her. My Pom suffered from seizures, and Gio was always a calm, reassuring presence during those difficult moments. She treated him with such patience, compassion, and genuine love, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. A few years later, we welcomed a Cane Corso Mastiff into our family, and without hesitation, we entrusted Gio with her care as well. She was just as amazing with our gentle giant as she had been with our little one. It's clear that Gio truly loves animals, and she cares for every pet as if they were her own. Knowing my dogs were safe, loved, and in such capable hands meant everything to our family. I recommend Gio to anyone looking for a compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy pet sitter.
