With over 30 years of experience caring for multiple dogs and cats of my own, I understand the various needs and personality differences of various breeds. I'm passionate about working with owners to support their four-legged family members through physical care, routine, long walks, play, & simply being present. I also have experience administering medications for those that need it. I have experienced unique joy in caring for each of my own previous pets from my Siamese Daniel & British Short-hair ZhuZhu to my Golden Retriever Calvin & Black Lab Hobbes. Schedule
I currently do part-time administrative work from home between 8am-3pm with only a few hours of teaching & training periodically throughout the week. However, since my schedule is flexible, I'm available for regular walks & never need to be away for more than a couple of hours if needed. I enjoy daily walks and/or runs for dogs that need longer outdoor time and never refuse the offer of a furry companion while I work on the computer. After school, my two children (ages 11 & 12) also enjoy nurturing the cats & dogs we have hosted in the past. Their compassion runs deep & its not unusual to catch one of them reading to pets that stay with us.

I am willing to work with your schedule & needs. My home does not have a fenced-in yard, but does have access to side-walks, local parks, & trails. I can easily crate your pet and can administer any medications.
A typical day
For my dogs, I love long runs, playing fetch, frisbee, hide n' seek a treat, & ball. For cats, I love rolling balls, chasing ribbons, & pets. A good brushing is always a great way to unwind too.
