I send all new clients a questionnaire in advance of their stay, that asks specific questions about a dog's behavior, likes and dislikes. This is not only for me to get to know your dog but also in case of an emergency and I can't get home, my point of contact will know all about your dog and how to reach you.

Dogs have fun hanging out at Auntie Ginny's. I have several toy boxes in the house and in the yard for the dogs to dig through and pick out their favorites. I like to play fetch with the ones that like to play. I also have a kiddie pool for the dogs to enjoy on those hot summer days or even on those cool winter days. Water dogs don't care what the weather is like! LOL

Are you having a hard time finding someone to watch your bull breed mix? Look no further, I specialize in boarding bully breeds (American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, American Bullies, American Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers, English and French Bull Dogs). I have two Am Staff mixes and foster bull breeds for two local rescues and two local shelters. I have over 10 years experience with the breeds. My personal and rescue dogs will be kept separated from my client dogs unless the client dogs are dog friendly and the client is ok with their dog playing with the "resident" dogs. I do a crate rotate system to keep all animals safe in the house - I also have two cats that are kept on the other side of the house and have experience caring for cat aggressive dogs. Each dog will get yard and couch time several times a day. I just moved to Clearlake Oaks from the Sacramento Area. I have been on Rover since 2016 and have many happy clients. Some of my Sacramento Area clients are so happy they will now travel to Clearlake to have me watch their dogs. :) PLEASE READ: Pick up and drop off services available for Sacramento clients booking a stay longer than 5 days. Overnight rate is for each 24 hour period. Additional 1/2 day (4 hours) is $15. Anything over 4 hours will be billed an additional 24 hour period.

Ginny is the best! She has been my go to dog sitter for the past 3 years and my dog Bentley loves her. Recently got a new puppy who also gets very excited when we drive up to her Aunt Ginny’s house. I fully trust her to keep my pups safe and cared for while I’m gone. I also appreciate how flexible she is and willing to work with my last minute changes. Love that she sends regular updates and photos to know how the dogs are doing! I fully recommend her and will keep doing the hour long drives to have my dogs cared for by her! Thanks for all that you do for them Ginny :)
Do not leave your dog with this unstable person!!! When picking up my pet the lady threw the food bowls at my feet and tossed me my dog leash. She seemed like she was on something or an alcoholic. She threatened me as well and got in my face. She was late for pickup because she was dealing with another dogs emergency from her care and was mad I couldn't wait around for her and had asked for an eta. Which she had people there so it was odd. She was probably trying to hurry home to hide the fact my dog has blood on him she tried to wipe clean from whatever happened there. So scary. I was not surprised she had a pet in her care with an emergency. We are still checking for other injuries on him. It was a total nightmare. I had to file a police report and a report with Rover. She has other people watching the dogs which is against the app rules. She leaves them in crates in a small room for 6-8 hours a day. I'm sure more. He seems very skinny as well so I’m not sure she was even feeding them. My dog has eye and ear infections. I’m also having Rover look into her reviews because there is no way this lady has 5 stars. She was rude the whole time, egotistical, and it was the most stressful situation. Said she has been watching dogs for 10 years and rescued pets but has never handled a dog with separation anxiety? Laughable! She hated my dog and complained the whole time. Said he made her dogs bark. However, he has been to sitters many times as I travel overseas for work and they always had glowing reviews. I used Rover since we just moved to this area. Wish I hadn’t! I would travel hours for my dogs safety and well being next time. My dog seems traumatized and so am I. I’ll be leaving this on other community forums, posting flyers, and every social media platform I can to ensure she doesn’t do this to anymore pets in our very small community. Stay away out of concern for your pets, health, safety, and welfare!
Ginny was great, very responsive and attended to all our needs.
You did awesome as always. Sorry I couldn't tip more, low finances. But you're always so great with my dog and so nice.
