Information Ginny C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know ahead of time about any particular needs for your pet or behavioral quirks. I am open to all dog breeds, but want to ensure a safe environment for both me and the dog.
A typical day
I love walking, so getting outside — even on cold winter days — is essential! I’m also a pretty goofy person and love playing fetch or whatever with animals. Lots of silly voices and fun.

Must Love Long Winter Walks!
Pet care experience
I’m an animal lover, and if you look at my photos, you’ll see that I am always finding ways to be around animals, whether they’re dogs, cats, birds, goats, opossums, you name it. I owned a German Shepherd rescue, Ada, for 12 years— we learned so much together. She taught me how to really care for another creature and to be patient and compassionate. She had some behavioral issues from her early trauma, so we did a lot of work together to make her feel safe, confident, and loved. Since she passed, I haven’t been ready to get another dog, but am craving more time with animals. I also walk everyday for about an hour, and I’d love to have company! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. Right now I'm primarily only focused on providing dog services outside of my own home, since my apartment is pretty small, including dog walking or checking in on dogs during the day.
Reviews
Ginny grew up in a household that always had pets -- dogs and cats, rescues mostly, but also hamsters and turtles and other animals. She was taught to honor and respect all creatures and never to harm them if they posed no threat. Thus, we carried spiders and other harmless bugs outside, rather than killing them. As a child she joined an organization committed to saving dolphins in the oceans from fishermen. All this likely led her to became an environmental scientist, first with NOAA and now with the National Audubon Society. Ginny is a compassionate lover of all animals and would be a great asset to Rover.com.
Even though I do not have a dog myself, I would take advantage of the service provided by Ginny. She is attentive, caring, and flexible when it comes to the care of animals. She has previously worked in a wildlife rehab center in the past and has her own dog, Ada, which she took care of for a number of years.
Ginny is a kind, responsible, firm yet loving animal caregiver. She's walked and watched my dog, Flora, multiple times, and I always feel safe knowing she's in her hands. Would highly recommend her as a dog caregiver to anyone who's interested!
Ginny C.has a great love of dogs -- and in fact, all pets and animals. She adopted a rescue German shepherd several years ago, and worked very hard to bring this dog back to health. She loves running with dogs for whom that is appropriate and also enjoys long, slower walks for older dogs. She will give your dog plenty of exercise and loving attention.
