Availability
I work a day job and am in office 3 days a week so I am not very available for mid day visit. My own pets are pretty low effort so I only need to check on them every other day but I also take care of my aunt's dog part-time so most of the time I am not available for extended stays. If you are a returning customer I can make exceptions to my schedule to work around the time with my aunt's dog.

Rover policy is out on a walk we don't interact with any people or other dogs. I also have a strong sturdy stance making it easy to keep large or dog reactive dogs under control. I am also an expert at body blocking to keep them inside at the door. You are paying me to hang out with your pets so once they are comfortable with me I try to spend as much time as I can with them but if they are nervous I let them have their space.

How long the pet can be alone for an overnight booking? For check-ins or walks what does the animal like to do or what should we avoid?
A typical day
I try to spend as much time with the pets as I can and I always try my best to either walk the dog in their own neighborhood or if suggested then where the owners suggest. My walk style is very much a decompression style going at the dogs speed and letting them sniff and explore. I also love to play tug and fetch and whatever your dog or cat likes to play.

Pet care experience
I have been walking for rover for 3 years as a side job to get to play with more animals. I have worked for a vet for a short time will I was in college cleaning up the office so I am not intimidated by most messes a dog can make and I have been walking and sitting on rover since 2019.

Reviews

Gina was great during our time away and was patient and helpful when we had a few things go wrong: door lock not working, feeder out of battery, litter box issue… we’re very grateful for her staying with our pets!

Gina is literally the best cat sitter I’ve experienced. We had someone for 7 years and they moved away suddenly, so I turned to Rover and met Gina. She made me realize what we’d been missing for the last 7 years! She goes above and beyond, and sends cute pictures every visit. One of our cats is super shy and has a really hard time with new people and refused to eat while we were away. Gina helped us troubleshoot the situation and was able to get him to eat! Of course on the very last visit he had warmed up enough to eat while she was here. Haha. ANYHOW, we will be booking Gina whenever we travel from now on. DO NOT HESITATE to have her be your pet sitter, she’s better than you could ask for.

This was first time and there was confusion about tasks. Plus one of my cats kept hiding which made the work difficult for new sitter.

Gina is perfection! So kind, accommodating, and responsive! Going out of town is a breeze thanks to her
