I love my 4 legged furry doggies.
Taking care of dogs is truly one of the most rewarding aspects of my life! In addition to having my Master’s degree in Counselling, I also love to work with pups that need a little extra love and care to thrive. Dogs with behavioral issues or special needs are no problem for me to work with! I simply love making sure that every pup, regardless of who they are, has the ability to be happy and healthy. Not only do I get to make animals happy, but they get to teach me a thing or two as well. Not only do I have all the love in the world for animals, but I also have tons of professional experience working with animals. I have walked over 1,000(!) different animals of all kinds of breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’m prepared for virtually any possible case, and have absolutely loved working with as many great pups as I have. I’m very experienced with taking care of animals of all different needs, so your pup will be right at home with me, no matter how much love they need to thrive. 20 years of animal care experience will definitely teach you a thing or two! Although I love taking care of animals, I also know that they’re only one piece of the puzzle! The other half of my job is to make owners feel completely at ease while they’re away from their pup. After all, no one likes to be away from their best friend, but I’m here to show your pup a good time and extend to them all the love that they’re used to at home. Checking in with owners is a more-than-daily occurrence, and I always include tons of information as well, from what we’ve done throughout the day to pictures to document it!

Gina is very prompt with communication and took great care of our anxious pug! Would book her again.
I had booked Gina a couple days in advance to have my pet stay with her, with drop off being in the morning (9:30-12:00) one day and pick up being the next morning. I unfortunately had an emergency situation to attend to the night that my pet would be staying with her and I would need to pick him up that some time that evening. I requested a modification to see if I could pick him up that evening, and gave a wide window of the times I could pick him up (4-10 pm) and I was told that she would not be able to accommodate this because she wouldn’t be home until 11:00 pm. Eventually, we were able to come to an agreement and make a modification for a 7pm pick up time. The next morning, She stated that I would not be able to drop off my dog before 10:30 (even though she accepted my booking with that being in the range of drop-off) due to a family situation and asked if I could drop him off after 11:00 or 12:00. I said no problem I can try for 11:30, and because of traffic, my ETA for drop-off ended up being 11:50. Gina said that that would be too late because she needed to pick her car up from the mechanic? And so I ended up needing to find another pet sitter an hour before i arrived in town, which was incredibly stressful. I also was baffled because it sounded like Gina would not be home for most of the day that she would be paid to watch my dog, and I had the feeling that my dog would be sitting in a cage for most of the time. I wouldn’t book with her again for all of these reasons.
This was our second time booking with Gina, and once again, everything went great! Sasha was well cared for, and Gina kept us updated while we were away. We will definitely use her again in the future.
Gina was wonderful with our pup, Sasha! We left Sasha with her for four days, and Gina kept us updated throughout our trip with photos and messages, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear that Sasha was well cared for and happy. We would absolutely leave Sasha with Gina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.
Bear had a great time at Gina’s! He can definitely be a handful but she handled him with grace! I’d definitely book her again.

A typical day
I hope that your pup is ready for fun! I love to be a happy presence for animals, so lifting their spirits and having tons of fun while they’re with me is always on the menu. Dog parks are one of my favorite places to go, as there are always tons of great opportunities to meet some new friends and have some off-leash time as well. If your pup prefers to fly solo, then we’ll make our way to some of the local parks or just have a good time hanging out together at home! Whatever your pup’s preferences are, I’m happy to oblige.
