Happy home, happy dogs
I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and currently have a 7 year old beagle of my own, so I truly understand how much pets are part of the family. I know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work locally and come home during the day, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, bathroom breaks, and plenty of love throughout the day. My husband and I own a home on a canal with a fenced in yard, giving dogs a safe and comfortable space to relax and play. I’m very active and a long distance runner, so I’m happy to provide walks, runs, and plenty of exercise (especially for high energy pups who need to burn it off). At the same time, I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether that means extra playtime or a more relaxed, calm environment. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and can administer medication if needed. My goal is always to treat your pet like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup!

I focus on creating a safe, calm, comfortable environment whether pets or in my home or theirs. In my home, dogs are treated as part of the family with tons of attention, consistency, and supervised play time on our fenced in yard. For drop ins and walks, I stick closely to their usual routine so they feel at ease. I’m mindful of safety inside and outside the home such as leash awareness, home safety, and following given instructions. I also have experience administering medication and prioritize trust and communication.

Schedule
My schedule revolves around caring for dogs since I already plan my day around my own pup. I work locally and come home during the day, so I’m able to give regular potty breaks, walks, and attention. Evenings are for walks and playtime and I make sure every dog feels comfortable and never left for long periods of time. I try to keep the same routine on weekends as well, as consistency makes pets feel right at home.
