I’ve shared my life with dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, including adopted and rescue animals of different ages, personalities and needs. I have special experience caring for senior and medically fragile pets. I adopted a very elderly, sick dog who required frequent medication and attentive daily care, and I also cared for my cat through medical needs that required consistent medication. I’m currently a devoted dog mom to Graci, a two-year-old Labrador, and a proud grandmom to Zoey, a two-year-old mini Australian Shepherd/Corgi mix. Caring for animals has given me hands-on experience with walks, feeding routines, playtime, medication schedules, close supervision and helping pets feel safe and comfortable. I understand that rescue animals and senior pets may need additional patience, consistency and time to build trust. I’m also a retired federal professional known for being dependable, observant and calm in unexpected situations. I understand that trusting someone with your pet—and your home—is a very personal decision. I will follow your instructions carefully, communicate consistently and provide plenty of photos and updates so you can feel completely comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 Important Booking Policies & Rates 🐾 Please review my standard hours and specialized rates before booking: * Extended Daycare Policy: My standard daycare rate covers up to 10 hours of care. Any daycare stay that exceeds 10 hours will automatically be upgraded to my Boarding Rate for that day. * Puppy Care Fee: Because puppies require extra attention, frequent potty breaks, and constant supervision, a +$15 puppy fee applies per day/visit for any dog under 1 year old. This fee applies to all Daycare, Boarding, and Dog Walking requests. Note: Rover automatically calculates the puppy rate for some services, but if it doesn't apply correctly to your request, I will manually modify the total to reflect these policies before finalizing the booking.
