The reason I thought about being a pet sitter is I have been doing it for free for many years and why not sit for other people. I would like to take advantage of not being a full time pet owner and being a remote worker. This way I can focus on your family pets with no distractions and have an adventure at the same time. I am kind of new to Rover but have been a TrustedHousesitters and had 7-5 star reviews.

Safety, trust & environment

I do everything I can to make your pet feel comfortable and calm. I like to take them for a walk in the morning, late afternoon, and evening but will accommodate extra walks if needed, especially puppies. I want them to be happy and do what I can to do this.

We have had Gina take care of our two dogs and house on several occasions. Our dogs love her and she did a great job at keeping them on their schedule of walks, meals and play time. We have a small poodle that requires a-lot of attention and Gina was more than happy to provide her with that. We also have a Bernadoodle who loves to play and needs a lot of affection. I Highly recommend Gina, she’s really easy going, reliable and very friendly person.

Gina was amazing with my dog Mia. From the start, Gina took the time to understand Mia’s quirks and triggers, never rushing or getting frustrated. On walks, she was incredibly patient, making sure to avoid situations that might stress Mia out. When she house-sat for me, I knew Mia was in good hands because Gina followed her routine. It was nice to know Mia was with someone who genuinely cared about her well-being.

Here are a few things that help me make their experience comfortable and stress-free: -Daily Routine – Feeding schedule, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and sleep habits. Keeping their routine consistent helps them feel at ease while you're away. -Personality & Behavior – Are they shy, energetic, or super cuddly? Do they have any favorite activities or comfort items? Knowing their personality helps me tailor my care to their needs. -Diet & Treats – Any dietary restrictions, allergies, or favorite treats? If they’re on a special diet, I’ll make sure to follow it exactly. -Medications & Health Needs – If your pet requires medications, supplements, or has any medical conditions, I’ll follow instructions carefully to keep them happy and healthy. -Training & Commands – Do they know basic commands, or are there specific house rules I should reinforce (e.g., no jumping on furniture, leash training, etc.)? -Social Preferences – Do they enjoy meeting new people or other dogs on walks? Or do they prefer their own space? I’ll make sure to respect their comfort level. -Fears & Triggers – Loud noises, thunderstorms, separation anxiety? If they need extra comfort or a calming routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe. -House Rules & Home Care – If I’m also house-sitting, let me know about any home care needs like plant watering, mail pickup, or alarm instructions.
