Dog, cat, & kid free home 💖

Every single person says they have the best dog ever. And every single person is right. I have been a dog lover my entire life and have been fostering them for years. My soul dog crossed the rainbow bridge a couple years ago and I’m doing Rover to get my puppy kisses until I’m ready to rescue another. Reactive dogs are welcomed as I’m experienced with all dog behavior during my time fostering pitbulls: reactive, timid, shy, etc. Key points: -dog, kid, and cat free home. It’s just me and it’s quiet and cozy with no traffic coming in and out. -I only board one family’s dog(s) at a time. -My priorities are your dog’s safety, comfort, and your peace of mind. We can talk more about my safety protocols during our meet and greet. -I work from home and will be there the whole time unless I have to go walk a dog. I will always let you know ahead of a boarding if I have walks scheduled and how long I’ll be gone for. I provide very detailed updates and photos especially within the first 30-60 minutes of a boarding to let you know how your pup is settling in. If you’re booking walks, daycare, or drop ins, those get detailed reports and photos, too. I provide 2-3 walks a day for boarding dogs based on their exercise level and let them out for numerous other potty breaks, too. After they’ve gotten their energy out they’re free to relax on my big couch with lots of blankets. They’re free to sleep in my bed, too. My goal is to always give you and your dog a “JW Marriott” experience when booking with me. There are very few people I trusted with my dog and it’s a privilege to be that person for you.

Gina did a great job with both our dogs. I felt confident that she was taking care of them the same way we do at home and making them as comfortable as possible.we got lots of great updates and communication. Will definitely use her services again when needing boarding.

Gina works well with my "spicy" guy and gives me wonderful reports. (She also saved me last week when I locked myself out of my house, with the car keys also inside!)

Gina is very patient with my "problem child" Springer. He can be a sweetheart, but also has his grumpy moments. Not just anyone would be tolerant of his moodiness, but she has won him over. The day I came home to let him out instead of Gina, he was visibly miffed at me for imposing on his Gina time. Thanks for taking great care of my silly curmudgeon!

Gina went above and beyond while taking care of Hobbes. He wasn't feeling well, and she notified us right away and was willing to do whatever we needed to help het him better. I appreciated how regularly she communicated with us and the sweet pics we received while traveling.

Schedule

My schedule is flexible and I’m home majority of the time. When your dogs are in my care, I will be home the entire time unless we have discussed any periods I will be gone and for how long.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

My yard is not fenced but we go on a lot of walks for exercise. My dog was not crated but I will respect however you want me to care for your dog including crating. We have LOTS of dog beds and blankets here and it’s very cozy!

A typical day

I start each day with walks to tire the dogs out. Then they get lots of love and snuggles, meals, approved treats, and another walk or two by the end of the day.

I can accommodate special needs dogs, diets, medications, etc. My last dog had a bout of cancer and two surgeries from that as well as a TPLO surgery for one of her rear ACL’s. I’m very experienced with post-surgical care and open to doing that for another dog. I can ensure that your dog will be comfortable, cozy, and “right at home” while staying with me. Please make sure you provide any special requests you’d like me to honor such as no treats, specific treats only, etc. when contacting me. Thank you!
