Raised in a family of veterinarians
I was lucky to grow up in a family full of animal lovers and caretakers, and I have truly never known life without a pet. Throughout my life, I have had the joy of caring for three dogs and five cats, giving me years of firsthand experience with the day-to-day care, routines, personalities, and needs that make every pet unique. My love for animals was also deeply shaped by my family. My grandfather is a retired veterinarian who owned his own practice, where my mother worked before becoming a wildlife rehabilitator. My father also worked in the veterinary practice for 42 years. Growing up surrounded by people who dedicated their lives to caring for animals taught me from an early age to take their health, safety, and well-being seriously. I know how much our pets mean to us, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were part of my own family. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience pet-sitting and dog-walking for friends and family. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you're away. I look forward to getting to know your pet, learning their individual routine and personality, and giving them plenty of love, attention, and care!

Safety, trust & environment
I take the safety and well-being of every pet in my care very seriously. When caring for a pet in their home, I make an effort to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, exercise, medications, and any other instructions provided by their owner. I want pets to feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment while their owners are away. I am attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs and will always follow the owner's instructions regarding their care. I also believe communication is an important part of providing trustworthy care, so I am happy to provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. Because I have a dog who is not comfortable around other animals, I am unable to provide boarding or pet care in my own home. I am, however, happy to care for pets in their own home where they can remain in a familiar and comfortable environment.

Gina is, simply, the greatest! As the granddaughter of a veterinarian and the daughter of two veterinary technicians, she's not only lived her life surrounded by animals, she's become extremely knowledgeable about their care, and it shows! She loves every pet she comes in contact with and is deeply passionate about treating all animals with the care and respect they deserve. Gina is also incredibly responsible; she takes commitments very seriously and is fiercely dependable. I have three cats of my own, and Gina has been a remarkable pet sitter for them; she gone above and beyond just taking care of their food, litter, and playtime by getting to know each of their individual personalities. I always feel at ease when Gina is taking care of my cats, and I know that anyone else who hires her for their pet sitting will feel the same!
Gina loves animals and therefore provides exceptional care when taking care of your pets. My partner and I hired Gina to take care of our two Labradors while we were away for five days. Providing us with daily updates, Gina followed the specific care instructions for both dogs, took them on walks, played with them, and of course provided lots of kisses and hugs. I think they felt as if they were on vacation the way she pampered them. When leaving your animals in the care of another person, you want someone you can trust, rely on, and a person that loves your animals as much as you do, that’s Gina. She’s terrific. I highly recommend her. Your pets will love her and you will too.

Schedule
As a graduate student, my weekdays are dedicated to my studies, so my availability is primarily on weekends. I am very open and flexible on Saturdays and Sundays and would be excited to spend that time walking with and caring for your pets! I am happy to work with your pet’s routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship, while you are away.
