My husband works from home and I work 3 part time days. My son is at school most of the day and is home around 3. He is 7 and is super gentle and loves dogs. I am available for play, walks and doggie snuggles! Someone is always home during the day with your fur baby!

I have a fenced yard, live on a very quiet circle which is great for walks. My home is very clean and has vinyl flooring throughout. Dogs are allowed on my bed and on the couch, unless requested otherwise by the owner. My goal is to make your pet's visit with me as normal as any other day, I want them to feel comfortable and at ease. Happy, healthy and full of joy!

How is your dog around children? I have a 7 year old and need to know the temperament of your dog. If my son runs by, will your dog nip at his ankles or be totally unphased. Any special areas your dog does not like to be touched, behind the ears, on top of the head? Any reactions to loud sounds, thunder, fireworks, vacuum or a pot or pan falling? Does your dog get along with other dogs or would they rather be alone and get all the attention?! Any health issues or medications? Food allergies? We do prefer hypo allergenic, non shedding dogs. I do not accept drops offs before 8am or later than 6pm. If your dog is spending the night, it is best to have them come earlier in the day and not right at their bedtime so they have time to adjust and get a good nights sleep. When you arrive, please have all the things your dog will need to have a relaxing stay and make them feel like they are at home. If they have a special toy or blanket, bring it! If they have 2 beds instead of one, bring them both. Bowls, food, treats, leash, collar/harness, toys, meds/vitamins/supplements, bed, crate, blanket, anything and everything they will need! I will set up a meet and greet in my home before your visit to make sure we are a good fit! During this visit, please watch your dog, especially if they like to mark their territory. We do a deep clean after every visit, but dogs can still smell other dogs. We know accidents happen, but please supervise and let us know if your dog is prone to marking so we can close off rooms or take them outside. I can't wait to hear all about your pet, their history and habits...and what makes them so silly and fun to love!
A typical day
I have a park in walking distance that leads to Pinellas trail and the Anclote river...lots of exercise and smells to be checked out! My son loves to interact by using using dog toys and a good 'ol game of fetch! Lots of snuggles and belly rubs will be provided. I also have a pool if you have a swimmer! I had a Yorkie for 16 years, he was my baby, my everything. We lost our love in May of 2023, and while I am not ready to get another dog, I am ready to give doggy snuggles and lots of belly rubs to other fur-babies. I have a fenced yard that your dog can run free at their leisure. I live on a quiet circle, which is a quarter mile, so great for walks during the day. Know that your pet will be loved and spoiled while visiting and will be treated like family! I will admit I take a ton of pictures and usually make short videos with music and send them to you! I also have some on our instagram page that you can check out before booking, it is TheBowWowBungalow, we would love a like and follow even if you don't choose us, at least you will enjoy doggies in your feed every day, and who doesn't love doggy fun! Please read: WE ONLY TAKE NON SHEDDING DOGS UNDER 40LBS, PREFERABLY HYPO-ALLERGENIC! POTENTIAL DAMAGES: ***IF YOUR DOG URINATES ON THE COUCH OR BED THERE WILL BE A $300 CLEANING FEE. ***FOR ACCIDENTS OUR ONE AREA RUG, THE FEE IS $150. ***ADDITIONALLY IF YOUR DOG CAUSES ANY DESTRUCTION TO ITEMS IN THE HOUSE, THE COST OF REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENT WILL BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE NATURE AND EXTENT OF DAMAGES.
