I’ve grown up around animals and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. I currently have two Golden Retrievers (ages 5 and 3) with completely different personalities — so I really understand how unique each dog can be and how important it is to meet them where they’re at. I also have two 16-year-old cats who very much prefer a quiet, calm life, so I’m used to balancing different energy levels and creating a safe, relaxed environment for all types of pets. I’m the kind of person who will always stop to say hello to a dog when I’m out — I genuinely love them and enjoy being part of their routine, whether that’s a calm walk, playtime, or just keeping them company. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to get to know their personality, energy levels, and any specific needs. Whether your dog needs a gentle stroll, a more active walk, or just a quick toilet break and some reassurance, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive, and I’ll always treat your dog like my own. Safety, trust & environment
I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, so I approach every visit with that in mind. I stick closely to your pet’s usual routine so they feel safe and settled, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just quiet company. Having both energetic dogs and older cats at home, I’m very aware of different needs from active walks to calm, gentle care. I’m always mindful of safety on walks and in the home, and I’ll keep you updated so you feel completely at ease while you’re away.

Gillian was excellent. She communicated clearly and sent us updates and pictures while we were away. She was very caring and friendly when she met Duke and Kezi. She managed to change her arrangements for us which was amazing to accomodate us . We were very happy with Gillian and would strongly recommend her.

Schedule
Pet care fits really naturally into my routine as I’m self-employed and already structure my days around my own dogs. I have the flexibility to offer walks, drop-ins, and sitting at different times of the day, and I enjoy building my routine around animals, it never feels like a “task,” it’s something I genuinely love doing.
