Dogs are my people
I’m a person that grew up with dogs in the house and once I became an adult I couldn’t wait to have my own! My husband, Brayton and I, have a 6.5 old pyrenees/german shepard that I like to think made us all a family from the get go. We are a good team and so we often share in the dog-guest supervision, duties and fun/cuddles . Our dog Bowie is an incredibly soft and affectionate 65lb ball of mush that mainly wants to be outside in the yard enjoying the fresh air, looking for signs of any squirrel activity. She is a daily source of inspiration for enjoying all that is sweet in life. We have an abundance of love to pour on any dog ( or cat!) that welcomes it! I work as a postpartum doula and nanny, so being around animals and kids is really all i want in this life. They recognize the good in all things. Brayton is a historian and current student at CCSU and we often have opposite schedules, so someone is usually here and this has been the perfect endeavor for us to take on these last few years. We’ve really gained a lot from the experience. We are also located just 20 minutes outside the Hartford area. So please, send a message my way-We’d love to meet your furry friend/s!

Schedule
My husband and I have schedules that allow for flexibility with time and has us able to be here at home to actually spend time with our own wonderful dog and new pup pals.

Safety, trust & environment
Pet friends are in a comfortable environment here, free to relax indoors or out in our fully fenced yard. Sleeping preference is whatever they like best.
Pets
A typical day
We like to create a calming atmosphere for all of our friends so we do what is best for each individual dog. For dogs with lots of energy we take on frequent walks, hikes, and some backyard playing or trips to the dog park just around the corner from our house. For the pups with a lower frequency we just want to help them feel at home, with light walks and many snuggles throughout the day. We are amenable to almost all dog personalities at this point!

- Please be sure to complete your pet’s profile prior to the request!! We as sitters must take the time to put together a profile and it’s imperative that pet owners do the same. It’s extremely helpful at the beginning to have as much info as possible beforehand. I WILL NOT respond to a request until I’m able to get a better understanding of the pet and what their needs are.
